So, I dont have a fridge in my new apartment and now I really feel I need one. When you dont feel well, like I dont today, I really would like to have a fridge with lots of food so I dont have to go out and fix food.
I want a fridge called SMEG and I am deciding between these colours (I have black and white in my whole apartment).

Red would be a great color touch, but if later you put some other colors, your apartment could turn on strange ^^' !

ReplyDeleteMy vote is for the red. If the rest of your place is in black and white, the red fridge would provide a cool feature in the kitchen.
I couldn't exist without a fridge. My apartment doesn't have a stove/oven though, so I have to use a microwave and a hotplate... in fact, I am off to try and cook dinner for my bloke :)

Black is very nice, but I think it would be cool to use a contrasting colour like red.

well, here´s some short help for ya, based on concepts that are accepted by the psychology of the colours (or something like that, haha): white is neutral, black is serious and elegant, and red is bold, outrageous, shocking. now it will depend on what "feeling" you want in your kitchen! hope I can help you! take care!

I think red is good ;) You may add some little red elements to Your kitchen like pics or tablecloth or seat pads and the whole look will be awesome and bright enough ))) and it's funny and unusual to have a red fridge!

Hmmm, personally I vote AGAINST the red one... but that's just me ;) I don't know what colour your other kitchen-furniture has, but let's say it's white, I would choose the white one :)altought.... it does looks a bit creamy white...mehh xD

You don't have a fridge? As in, no fridge AT ALL? That seems so strange to me as that is a standard piece of equipment wherever I've lived and travelled...
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on your decor and the space you have available for it. Does this model come with a freezer section in it? That is also a consideration, you know, if you like to have ice cream on hand!

ReplyDeleteWell, i think the pink/red one would be perfect for you! It will 'break' the monotonous color in your appartment and in addition this coulour is so bright that it fits with your bright personality ;] happy and coulourfull.

So you do not have a fridge yet? When I moved house last month I did not have one for two weeks and found it awful. You should get one quickly even if it is just to cool the wine =)

ReplyDeleteThe colour will depend ont he all thing in your kitchen and appartment, but if ALL is black and white, maybe the red one will give some "colour" and put a destak in your place. Anyway all of them are very nice.

ReplyDeleteI'm that kind of person that my opinion changes every second day, but since I like red and black combination, I say go for black. Or red. Or maybe yellow :DD
Definitely the red! It'll add a nice little splash of colour (the most beautiful one, IMO ;) and will be different and unique (in a good way, of course!) from most people's fridges :)

Just a crazy tip: why don't you get the red one to turn the things in your house different?
Black and white everywhere, and a red fridge in the kitchen, blue couch in the room, etc. for example :P
Just to break the "black & white" and turn each room fun with one furniture in a bright color.
As I said, it is just a crazy idea that appeared in my mind.
I don't want you apartment get strange hehehe.

I'd go for the black, because I like black things... favorite color and all, hehe. The white one looks toooo... ancient, even though it's a brand new model. That's not retro, that's just dated.
Red is nice, but quite bright.
Ultimatly, the choice is up to you and whomever you live with.
I hope that you get to feeling better(was it too much sun? i always feel icky and blah after too much time in the sun)

My choice is definitely BLACK! :) We have a white fridge, an old thing, and when I visit people, they have those cool new things in dark grey and black. It wouldn't fit our old kitchen though, but I think black is nice. :) But I'm sure you find the right one. And the most important thing is that it works, and keeps your drinks cold! No, I mean food! ;D

First I was going to say black but then I started to think that if your whole apartment is black and white, maybe the red one would "fresh-up" it. One detail in strong red would look great in my opinion :)

I love how this style of refrigerator is both modern and vintage. If your decor is black and white I would suggest the red! But every time you look at it you will salivate. According to color studies red has that effect!
