A warm feeling inside...

I get all warm, happy and cosy in my body when I think about yesterdays gig. 20 000 people who were doing my "hep-heps" so loud that I almost didnt hear myself;=) In Poet and the pendulum I looked out and what I saw was an ocean of lights... people had lit their lighters and in the darkness with the dark sky, the warm and steady breeze, the alps in the background...wow, it was a big goose-bumps moment...

The feeling in your body after such an experiense, which you share, not only with my 4 boys in the band, but with our crew and all the attending people who came to listen to us, it´s something I will look back on in my older days when I sit there at the retirement home, telling stories to whomever wants to listen...;=)

So thank you! All of you that came to Greenfield Festival yesterday, you have given me such a cherished memory and for that, I am so grateful!

    But can't wait until Hartwall in September! Even though I'm right at the back, just to be in there will be awesome!!!

    Glad it gave you such a feeling. Nightwish give us that feeling whenever we are lucky enough to get to the show so it's nice you get it too!

    That's sounds a good memory to hold onto Anette when your feeling down or tired. Some musicians get blasé over time and it's very nice to hear that you and the guys & crew still get an emotional reaction to it and appreciate the whole event :=)

    I saw the pictures from the gig and you looked absolutely stunning! The dress is very beautiful and it fits you very well. :) Even when it's not "heavyheavyhornshorns" I do not care :D Love that dress.

    Hopefully also the rest of the summer festivals go well and Marco remember the lyrics :D

    It's good to imagine a dark place full of little tealights <3 After such an experience it should be like.. 10 times as great!

    Hehe xD I can't even listen to the studio versions without thinking 'it sounds strange without the Hep's...' It just creeped in my mind so much, that I can't think a song without it anymore :P

    Sounds nice, all that lighters in the air looks beautiful. I saw it 15th March in Rotterdam, I have never seen so much lighters before :)

    I was among your numerous fans in Forest National in Belgium. You and the band were fabulous. The stage was wonderful and your suit was as usual perfectly charming.


    I don’t know if you remember but a fan threw you a teddy bear with a cat head, that was from me.

    I’d have liked to know if you’ve kept it and if you have it,if you could just take a picture of you with it.

    It will be a great memory of my first Nightwish’s concert.

    I’ve discovered Nightwish thanks to you, and the song “Amaranth”. Since then I’ve followed the band’s evolution.

    I’ve discovered Marco Hietala thanks to that. I really love him now, I want to learn playing guitar thanks to him.

    Good luck for you carreer, and thanks for your possible answer.

    This makes me want to get out there and sing on stage again, but I can only really do that in school and I'm on holiday...

    mmm....about the hepping-theme..In less than 12 days it will be a year since I've visited NW show for the first time in my life )if You remember we, a bunch of young people were standing with a big russian flag in the crowd)))..and the show and especially Your furious HEPping just blew my mind XDD
    and like many others here I always imagine those HEPs while listening to NW CDs )))

    Oh kay well I feel a little bit (very!) sad that I couldn't be there :'( but it sounds SO good! I could practically feel that moment on stage when you described it - and it sounds absolutely magical :) When I'm up on stage someday (it WILL happen , I'm determined :), having a moment like that of my own , I'll be remembering this post of yours!

    I'm incredibly happy that it was an amazing feeling for you and believe me...it was an incredible feeling for us as well in the crowd. I loved it when you came back out and made us all sing the soccer chant from Germany/Switzerland. I'd have to say hands down you were the best show at the festival. I hope you have a great break after you last concert in September...but also hope you'll make it back to the United States...I know so many people over there that have just recently come across Nightwishes music and absolutely love it. Come by and visit...we'd love to see you!

    It's so great to hear (or read, whatever) that you had a fantastic gig. I definitely wish I could be there! And I must say that do not never ever stop your hepheps 'cause they are super cool!
