Swedens national day 6th of June

Good morning everyone (or good day;=)

I slept quite long today but I felt I needed that one day of long sleep. Can´t say it was a good decision since I woke up with neck-pain and headache.

Today it´s our national day here in Sweden and this has never been a big day before but since one or two years (I am not sure of the exact date) we started to put the day as a red holiday in the calender. So today they have celebrations here and there and I cant decide if to go and check it out or just be a good girl and clean my apartment...hmmm...hard decision;=)

Tonight it´s also football night here in Sweden;=) I am normally no football fan, but when it comes to watching Sweden and of course especially Zlatan Ibrahimovic, I just need to watch;=) Zlatan is that kinda guy that people either just hates or loves since he is so typical "un-swedish" in his way of talking and being. And I love it;=) If you are good at something, why can´t you be aloud to say so? Be proud of what you are and can do and that´s exactly what he is;=)

I dunno what sort of celebrations there are out there, but you can also go to there and check it out for a while and then go back and clean your apartment (altought that's not the nicest thing to do xD ) ;)
And about the footbal player, I think he just may do what he want :) If he likes too talk and be like that, then let him :) Good you like it too =)
    Have a nice day! =D

  4. Good morning Anette! =)
I agree with Night*Star. You can go and check the celebrations out there for a while and then go back and clean your apartment... I know it's boring ;).

About Zlatan Ibrahimovic if there's freedom of speech why can't he speak his mind? ;)

Hope you are feelng better and have a nice Saturday.

  5. Hey Anette ^^

Agreed with Night*Star too =) Just go check it, you can allways go back to clean (Altough I would see a national day as a very good reason not to clean up (A) I hate it..)

Football isn't my favorite sport too xD But when the Netherlands play a big/important game, I'm allways watching (And screaming) =P

    Hope you're gonna feel better!

  6. I like Ibrahimovic too, i'd have liked to see him in England sometime. My team, Spurs, thought about trying to get him once a few years ago. Sweden v Denmark tonight, a VERY big match. Hope you win!

Hope your aches clear up and the shows go well.

  8. Good morning, Nettan(Now I think I should say afternoon, but...). I hope you are better now(without headache and neck-pain). Clean the apartament is a task that I try to avoid, thank god that I have a maid.

About football, I can't deny that almost all brazilian people love it and I do too. Besides I am brazilian, I like the italian team, they're great. And Ibrahimovic is such a good player, you are luck to have him.

I wish you have a wonderful day.
    A big kiss,
    Tatiana.

  12. IKEA was lying to me all the time, they told us in their commercials, Midsommer is the swedisch national day. ;=) Thx Nettan for clearing this up. OK, now i checked Wikipedia and they say 6 June is not a very popular national day.

Anyway, can it be Nettan, that you are more interested into the football players than in the game? ;=)

Best wishes to all of you here.

  14. Good day to You too, Lady Anette!

Long sleep can be nice but also sometimes it can give us a hard time indeed! I hope You're feeling much better now, if not... Please try a hot compress on Your forehead and head, it should help :)

I'm not a soccer fan myself! I think Soccer can be boring sometimes but I can go wild while cheering for a national Polish team or a team that I like. I admit that soccer can give a woman plenty of excitement! :D

Have a beautiful day and good luck to Swedish team tonight!

    Big hugs,
    Karolina

  18. the best part in watching swedish football games is when they show some of those beautiful swedish fangirls in the stadium on TV. During these moments I realize that god must be a swede! :)

  19. Hej,

yeah, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very good, I like him too but more as a football player. But I think that Freddy Ljungberg is much more better (not only as a player but also as a man ;-)

Good to know that it's National Day in Sweden. So I have a really good reason to make party with my guests from Visby. Very nice swedish peoples and if everybody in sweden is like these boys and certainly you I want to travel there and stay there too ;-)

And because the thing with the policewoman: I want to send you something that protects you, it is something celtic. Can I send it to your management?

So, have a nice day. I go and make party (*_*)

    Hugs, Margit

  20. Hi Anette! Hope you're feeling better with your neck and head.
Glad to know you like Zlatan too! =) I'm from Italy and he plays in my favourite team! We just won the Italian Championship!! =) I like too that he says what he thinks and is proud of his skills. There's far too much hypocrisy in this world...
You are a genuine and sincere person too, and that's one of the reasons why I am a big fan of you! =)
    Talk to you soon!
    Much love,
    Elisa

  21. Back during the 06 world cup (I think that was it) I cheered Sweden on mostly due to Zlatan. I think he's such an amazing player. Plus, his name caught me off guard! I'm glad to hear you were watching the game! Football is a great game, but hockey is better!!
