Graspop and two swedish girls...;=)

Ok, as I told you before..me and Mimi drove through 3 countries to get to the festival yesterday...and we were already late to the signing session so when we came to the festival spot we really wanted to find the main stage...
we asked many people that worked there and everyone said: go there...go there..and just pointed us to different directions... and it all turned out that they led us completely wrong way...which ended up in me missing the signing session and letting people down. It was very frustrating....

But we had some fun during the way...it was to bad I didnt video shoot when Mimi was driving backwards for 1 km...haha! That was a funny moment;=)

And another really great moment was when we were going back to Düsseldorf in the night and stopped at a truckstop somewhere along the highway and ate some food and Mimi said to me: do you know which country we are in now? And I didnt...and then she asked the waitress who was like: WHAT??? Its Holland of course! And then the other waitress came out and asked really loud: WHO WAS IT THAT ASKED IN WHAT COUNTRY WE ARE??? haha..and we were like: not us...;=) Oh, I just loved that!
Swedish girls on tour...;=)

Enjoy the video!

  5. They say a picture is worth more than thousand words. So this logic, a video is worth more than a thousand pictures.
I love that you put these videos here on the blog, it is as if we (the fans) were there with you.
    Congratulations, Greetings from Brazil
    Sorry for my bad english.

  9. what's a good trip without funny moments?
of course at some moment you wouldn't know where were you after passing so many countries in a day.
Now it's time to rest me thinks. It's kinda hard to know what time it is where you are as I'm from the other side of the world =P
    Take care!!

  11. HaHa, this video was funny too-
I thought it was funny when you said,
"Since we are Mimi and Anette,
and we are like we are, we do what we want"
    That was hilarious.
I keep on watching these over and over
    I think they're funny!
And I like the restaurant story
    with the waitress! HaHa

    By the way quick question-
are you going to let us help you
choose what you wear on the
    July 9th concert??? That's my 17th birthday!

  17. O, one question, why did you drove all the way from Germany and you didn't fly to Holland or Belgium? Was there a reason for that?
It seems like a shorter trip to me =)

  22. Hejssan igen Anette och tack so mycket for keeping us updated with all those backstage photos and whatelse! ;) (Sorry my Swinglish -- I'm ashamed I've forgotten all my Swedish even if I have relatives on that side of the pond... :p) Also, always a pleasure to hear your thoughts -- you're truly such a sweet, sincere and warm-hearted person :)

I'm in love with those Willow boots, btw -- just wondering where/how could one buy those? I checked the designer's website but there was no information about how to get their products... Odd...

Anyways, take care, ♥ & *hugs* and see you in Seinäjoki in the end of July! :) Last gig on this tour for me & my friend (couldn't get tickets to Olavinlinna or Hartwall, drats...) -- we feel so sad already knowing it'll be probably more than two years till the next time... :´) Always puts us in such a good and warm mood, to see you guys on stage... :)

  23. Hi there :)
I love roadtrip ^^ that's unfortunate you missed the signing session but it's true that sometime it's hard to find the way especially in a foreign country.
It happens to me so many times to miss my way lol
Anyway it's always fun to travel through countries, this is good memories :)
Take care have a nice evening :)

  24. I see you had fun :) Reminds me of when me and my friend were trying to get out of Basel back in March when you were touring there. Gosh, I think we were circling around the same streets for some half an hour at least :D And with a navi system that was, hihi.
Too bad you missed the signing though.
And the outfit you wore for the show was really lovely :)

  25. Ooh cringe! I have too many moments like the restaurant incident! I hope you and Mimi had a good time anyway!

  26. you must be very venturous to take that trip, I'm very impressed because I´m Brazilian, and it's a huge country, you must have taken tha half of the time I'd take to cross just my country! Anyway, seemed very fun, good luck in the next gig.

  27. ZOMG xD How can you not know you're in Holland xD I mean, after the white number-plates in Germany are the yellow ones of Holland pretty different xD But, on the other side, it's pretty easy to miss it since you're trough it in like, 3 hours, because it's so smaaaaaaall xD

Pretty bad day to be in a car al day btw, since the weather was so nice (even in Holland.. *shock*..) I was first on the beach, then on a boat, and then in a car :P

Hope you had a nice day in the end =)

    xx,
    Nouky

  30. Hej!
I love your videos, they are always funny !! =D

The GPS didn't "told" you the right road ?
Because we've one too, and last year, my mother drove me to my pencil-friend's house (in Germany) and, i told my mother: " When you'll drive back to France, don't listen to it, look at the road sign". She didn't ... that's why she ended up in Zürich instead of Basel xD
(Sorry of telling my life, but i couldn't stop myself ;-D )

    Have a ncie week,
Kisses from the far away France :)

  31. Hhihi funny vid :)
Actually the Belgian languages are Dutch, French and a bit German and you were driving around in the dutch area :)

  32. Hey! It's too bad you missed the signing sessions. Though I didn't get an autograph from the guys either, even though I had been standing in what I thought was the queue for over an hour. =(

But you were really great yesterday at Graspop! I actually skipped Epica, which I really really really like, to be closer to the stage when Nightwish played, and I was quite close I think :D It was also really cool when I sat on my friend's shoulders =D

I was also very surprised to hear Ghost Love Score again, although I was really hoping for that. Being surprised when Jukka ticks his drumthingy 6 times, followed by the choir and stuff, is the best feeling ever =D

The only song I really missed was the Poet and the Pendulum, but obviously we can't get it all ;) I was also surprised that it was over ten minutes before the schedule said it would be, but still, you gave me the perfect ending of a great weekend! Thanks a lot, really looking forward to the next show in Holland, though I think I'll have to wait at least two years for that xD

  33. At least you two ladies arrived at the place! I'm sorry You missed the signing session but I'm sure the fans weren't mad at You, Anette!

The weather looked hot. Was it very hot in Holland? It was hell today in Poland. I hope the weather wasn't too bad.

  42. Hey Anette! =)
Well, today I just came to thank you for a interview you gave to "Metal From Finland". There you said about the real reason about what happend in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and finished with many discussions it was happening here. Many people eas faulting Tarja´s fans for what happend, what is not true, and you know about it. Many Tarja´s fans LOVE you, and I´m one of this fans.
Each day more I love and admire you for the person you are. Each interview I read, more I notice how special you are! Thank you very much, and I really hope you read this message!
    It´s really important to me!
    Love you very much! (L)
    Many kisses from Brazil!

  43. It's very frustrating when you ask right directions and everybody says the wrong ones. It seems that no-one knew you are Anette from Nightwish, or then the people just were quite unpolite.
I believe that you had fun with Mimi, I laughed when I read your "little accident in Holland" :D

  44. ahaha, Anette, you are laughing so funny XD

Then they will answer you with details about how to pay etc. I promise you that they are wonderful to wear and the more I use them the softer they get. They are also handmade. Good luck;=)

  58. Hey Anette,
Don't mind the Flemish traffic signs, because they didn't say anything about which way to go. My friend and I asked everybody and we found the place where to get the wrist bands, but we didn't see the entrance, only camping entrance....
After walking the same road up and down for like 4 times, we were told that the camping entrance was also for one day tickets *sigh*
Funny thing is we asked ppl from Holland and the UK, before someone from Graspop service directed us correctly!
