So, we ended up at Bauhaus in search for good things to make a gate of so we can keep the cats inside but still open the balcony door to get some air. Found some net and some wooden planks we will build together tomorrow.
Then som exercise and some really good food;=)
At the moment we are waiting for our rubarb pie to get ready and then it will be a nice movie and just relaxing in the couch.
I am worried about my cat Gremlins who has bitten a bold spot on her tail and I dont know if she is ill or what it is... will go to the pharmacy tomorrow to see if I can get some first aid and then I think the veterinarian is the next book an appointment at. Has anyone had this problem with a cat before and might have any suggestions or help?
I must say I am a bit worried of her;=(
Now, good night and sleep well;=)
And lots of LOVE to you;=)
this pic is great!
ReplyDeletehugs. :*
Good luck with the gate.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Anette, I'm sure the vet will know what he is doing and sort out any problems if there is any.
What bit her or don't you know?
Sleep well, Ryan.
Hi dear Anette
ReplyDeleteGood Evening!!
I love this photos of LOVE very beautiful!!
love
Isabelle
I used to ask you if you say it to come on my forum (Anette Olzon Forum Francophone)? Of course you can speak English this is not a problem. I make a party dedicated to that from time to time you post news about yourself here! Thanks again for your visit
ReplyDeleteSee you soon!
With all my love
Thanks
Isabelle
Poor little Gremlins :( How long has she been chewing at her fur for? With my cats it has always been from a simple skin infection, or if it is only very recently, it might just be a bug bite.
ReplyDeleteYou've had a more productive day than I have - I had a grand plan to exercise, but it hasn't happened :( Do you have good running routes near your home? My current home is right on top of a hill, so the run home always means running uphill :( And today, I just couldn't face it.

ReplyDeleteDear Anette,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I can't help you, I don't have a cat. But I hope she'll be ok and it's nothing serious.
Have a nice evening and good night =D
Hugs,

Lud
Hi Anette
ReplyDeleteI really feel for you and I hope that everything gonna be alright with Gremlins!
Good night
Love, Victoria
Hej Anette,
ReplyDeleteI've heard of a similar problem with other cats, in their case the bold spots was just because of stress! =) They had moved in a new house, and it took some time for them to get acquainted, so they showed their stress by biting bold spots and losing hair. Then after a short time they were fine again. So, if your cat has just moved house, it may be her case too? Don't worry, the vet will tell you what's going on exactly and find a solution! =)
Lots of love and hugs to you and to her!! =)
Elisa
I LOVE rhubarb pie =D =D =D
ReplyDeleteIt's so good!!!
Is it your favorite kind of pie, Anette? Or do you have a different favorite?
Hi Anette
ReplyDeleteI also have a cat (and had some in the past), but i've never heard of or seen any bold spots.. Sorry, can't help.
I totallyyyyy agree about the things you said in 'Todays Thoughts'.. I ask myself also very much questions about the world and it's bad side. Why is there so much pain? Why can't we all live in peace? Why is love sometimes (or to many times) so hard to seek...............??
Sometimes I also feel totally down. For example: Last wednesday I got my results of my final examns of becoming a teacher. And I had 1 point that wasn't good enough, only 1 stupid thing! I am totally disapointed in myself. Because it is something that I have fought for 3 years and had to work very hard!! And still I wasn't able to succeed it all. I was soooo down of this, that it actually frightened me. It cried for 3 days, the first day hour after hour, cried myself to sleep, the second day I woke up crying, feeling totally sad the whole day and than the third day cried from now till than. I was totally broken apart. It made me also scared that I was so down of it. It's because it is the most important thing in my live for the moment. Luckily I have the chance to do a second examen on august 21st. So in the end: it will finally be OK. But It's not ideal to find a job when school starts in september. But I'll see what the future will bring. Today I still get confrontated every day with it, many people are disapointed in me and still myself ofcourse. But in august I will get my degree, i will get there!! So, I'm not that down anymore. Not since the day of Graspop: when I saw Nightwish and some other great bands like Epica, Children of Bodom.... :)
Really: THE MUSIC PULLED ME TROUGH!!
So thanks for that :)
And tomorrow I am heading towards Werchter Festival for 4 days. Totally relaxing and enjoying the wonderfull music!!!
(Sorry for telling my life over here, but I also like to do that, just like you.)
Baai, have a great night, Daphne
My cat did this too. It was because of the fleas. Is your cat nervous?
ReplyDeleteHi Anette
ReplyDeleteI don't have a cat myself, but I asked my friend and she said that it could just be the heat and it was itching her. From the photos of her she appears to be a long-haired cat so she might have itched it too much and made it sore and bald. As Anna said, it could also be a skin infection, so you might want to check that out with a vet.
Hope she gets better soon and have a nice night watching a movie. :-)

Well with the weather change,
ReplyDeleteit could be dry skin,
and maybe it's bothering her
and she's picked at it too much.
My cats Brandi and Mulder do that.
BUT, my mum just told me that sometimes
happens to cats who have allergies.
Hopefully the vet will know,
or you'll find something helpful
at the pharmacy.
Well I hope you feel better
and your eye problem gets all sorted out-
I still think it could be pink eye...
But get some sleep,
and have a good time relaxing!
Hugs and love, Katie T.
Hi Anette!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to help you but my cat was never into a similiar situation. But don't worry, Gremlins will be just fine =).
Take care.
All my love,
Barbara
I'm thinking it's not serious..i hope it isn't!!. I've had a cat or few in the past, but i don't know what it might be.
ReplyDeleteSweet dreams to you :)
I had this with one of my cats too. It could be stress related or a skin infection. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your cat will be fine :)

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear about your cat, I never had one myself so I can't help with that :/ but I hope it's not too serious :)
ReplyDeletehave fun watching your movie and eating your pie =)
and, of course, sleep well you too ^^
xxxxx
Good night Anette!
ReplyDeleteDOn't worry that is nothing serious about your cat)_
Maybe she just got a flea) That happens. The cat usually licks that place of her or bites it. Or maybe she has got a scratch somewhere and tried to let it feel better). The vet will solve that anyway :)
Sleep well,
Inga
Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd don´t worry, your cat are gonna be fine! ;)
Love you!
Many kisses!
Hi there :)
ReplyDeleteGood night and sleep well too!
Lots of french love for you :)
Take care <3
Hello Anette! :D
ReplyDeleteI agree with some of the earlier comments, it is likely that Gremlin may be a bit stressed (Have you done any large amounts of DIY around your home recently? That worries my cats!), but I wouldn't worry too much; your vet will know exactly what to do.
I just wanted to share with you what we use for our cats when we want the door open; we have four house cats, but it can get quite hot so we have screens for the doors, like you are getting, and we also have smaller ones for the windows - it's probably too late for me to tell you where you can buy them from as you seem to be making them, but may I suggest magnetic strips to attach the screens? We find these work very well, especially for windows, although it will depend on the size of your door obviously. Anyway, I am sure you've already thought of this! :D

ReplyDeleteHi Anette,
ReplyDeleteI hope your cat will be okay soon. I'm sure the vet will know something, and I think it's nothing too bad ;) We have cat's too, and they use to scratch their skin open when there is a tick. Than they have a little wound, and when we've token the tick away everything's fine again :P
xx,
Nouky
Ahw poor kitty :( I don't know what it could be, but I'm sure she'll be fine!
ReplyDeletelots of love!

Good night and lots of kisses to You!
Hugs,

Hmm, I had a similar problem with my dog recently.. The vet said it was just an allergy and she got an injection, so the best thing would probably be to go to the vet and ask him what's the problem :) I'm sure it's nothing serious though :)
ReplyDeleteHow is your allergy? I hope you feel better :)
Big kisses and hugs :)

ReplyDeleteHi Anette!
ReplyDeleteI don't have problem like this with my cats. You should go to the vet, he will be know what it is. Probably it is allergy like says Dreamy Eyed Child. Everythings will be ok!

Good night, lovely Anette.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that everything oges well at the doctors tomorrow and that you sleep well.
I had quite a frustrating day. Woke up, called the bank to make sure my money was in the right spot, thought I told them to make sure my credit card reflected that(I didnt, apparently) and went back to sleep for a nap, woke up from that and went to the store for a few much-needed items... went to check out to discover, much to my horror and embarrassment that my credit card was declined, sat out in the heat(it's like 102F outside...) walked out to the car once i spotted it, came back home, grabbed my cell phone, called the bank and straightend the mess out, went back to the store got what i'd needed and went to a conveince store ont he way back home and grabbed a diet mountain dew(gross) which was pormptly tossed out(got griped out for that) and am now sitting in front of my air conditioner soaking up the cool air sweating my butt off.
Stress-filled, at least for me.
I shall sleep well(yay for ear plugs)
Love you, too,
Falyssa
Good luck with the gate, and with your cat =)
ReplyDeleteHope she will get better soon.
Sorry for not helping =(
Good night, sleep well and have a shiny day tomorrow =)
Greetings from a fan from Brazil.
Take care.

Hi dear =)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry, everything will be resolved ;)
Make compresses of warm water in your eye and I think you'd better carry your little cat in veterinary.
Sleep well ;)
God bless you

ReplyDeleteWell I just had this situation with my dog..the oldest of 2..he´s 11 so as you can imagine, we take care of him as much as we can, he´s like a baby to us, his name is Jackie...Anyways...he had some kind of stomach bacteria last weekend and he got so bad that we all thought we were going to lose him =(.. Fortunately, we took good care of him. What we did and my only advice to you..at the first sign of trouble, take your precious Gremlins to the vet or have them visit soon, and follow their prescription to the book. Believe me, this is what saved our little baby too. =) I hope Gremlins gets well.
ReplyDeletemy cat got bit on his tail by another car =[ it could be that
ReplyDelete*hugs and bunnies*

Aw, I'm sad for your cat :(
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about it
Sorry!
Sleep well and take care :)
Good Morning Anette,
ReplyDeleteif I were you I would definitely go and see a veterinary about Gremlins because it could be just about anything.
Is the place where she is bold also infected or did she just loose fur? She will probably lick and try to wash this spot over and over again and with all the bacterias cats keep in their mouths (do cats have mouths or is called snouts? anyway) it will easily get infected. My cat Nellie had a similiar problem once but in her case she was bitten by another cat in her tail and we had to keep the wound clean with antiseptics, I used Betadine, an iodine product and mixed it with water and cleaned the wound with a cotton pad. But if it gets worse she will probably need to take some antibiotics, as Nellie had too as well.
It could also be a bite from an insect which has itched so much that she tore her fur off. But you mentioned before that Gremlins had fur problems anyway. Check her for fleas or mite in all of her fur, it is high season for that.
A vet can also find if she has a general skin problem which could be treated with a special shampoo. Either way, a vet's visit is probably the best.
Good luck with sweet little Gremlins and also with yourself & the eye. Hope both of you will be back on track in no time.
Hugs, Katrin
Hi Nettie,
ReplyDeleteSo sad for your cat!!!!
Hope that Gremlins stay well tomorrow, keep us updated about your cat!!!!

Hello anette i wish i had a cat too but here in uk is another problem with a cat u know so , i have a cat but at home in my country to my grandmother !:) take care hope she will be fine soon don't worry !:(:*:)
ReplyDeleteHi Nettan,
ReplyDeletesometimes cats just can get mite/tick infestatinon, even if they only go out to the balcony. (just like mine)
Sure Gremlin needs to see a vet, but also there are good preventive treatments like Frontline, if it turn out theat she really has tick or something similar.
Anyway, cats heal fast, and if she is treated, sure she will get better soon.
Dear Anette, i'm sorry for you. I never had this problem with my cat (i had when i was from 5 to 8 years old). Take care! Hugs
ReplyDeleteHey, this is something that I can definitely help with because it just happened with my kitty , Ariel :) - she had been scratching away at some spots on her legs until they were completely hairless :S - we took her to the vet , all concerned about it - and he said that it was nothing more than itchy skin - in my cat's case, it wasn't caused by fleas or anything so there wasn't much we could do ... she's stopped now - I think it was maybe just because of dry skin? But I would check her for fleas and such like things :)
ReplyDeleteLove straight back to ya ;)
