Thanks so much to all you brave finnish people who crossed the rain and stood there yesterday listening to us;=) I felt so sorry for all of you and I wish you had gotten sun on you instead...but swedish and finnish summer weather unfortunately is like that;=( Still, kiitoksia and lots of hugs for coming!!!
Me and Mimi totally forgot to take before-show outfit photo...so unfortunately I only have a very sweaty, gloomy after-show photo where I also have taken the high boots down to get the sweat out...but I know you can find better photos in the internet;=)

Thank _you_, Nettan -- and the boys of course! -- for the great gig yesterday :) All our favorite songs, and you just sound better and better every time! :) The rain didn't bother us at all -- actually, it just added some extra "melancholy", "bittersweetness", almost, to the feeling of this gig, knowing it was the last one on this tour for me & my best friend (unless a miracle happens and I can make it to Olavinlinna -- highly unlikely, though, unfortunately...) :) (now, if I sound strange indicating that melancholy is "good" -- well, we're Finns, guess that explains enough ;) Besides, the pyros felt nice and warm in that weather -- too bad we couldn't make it to the front row... :p )
ReplyDeleteWe're gonna miss you guys so much -- we've had so great times, so much fun and so many lovely, warm memories from your gigs this and last Summer (and of course, to the undersigned, from the Texas backwoods too, this last May ;)) Driving to the gig places is half of the fun, too -- I had already forgotten how great road trips can be! Always something crazy happens... :p
Have a really nice Summer, big thanks and hugs to the boys too and hopefully two years go fast so we can see you on stage again! :) (I guess the next tour will start some time in 2011, when the next album should come out?)

ReplyDeleteThe show was just amazing! And the set list too, I was so happy to finally hear you sing Dead boys poem live, it was beyond beautiful Anette! and escapist aaahh! We were lucky enough to get to the 2 row and I was just jumping like crazy most of the time haha =)
Ay first I was really worried about the rain, but since the temperature was so warm I didnt mind..actually it was kinda..romantic or something haha. And when you guys started to play i forgot about it totally. =)
About your look, You looked beautiful and I liked your outfit. It seems those boots just make every dress rock =)

ReplyDeleteI haven't had money to buy any new boots or clothes for for a long time so I have been wearing my winter boots on stage *laughs*. That was a pretty bad idea because you know how sweaty our feet get wearing regular boots. So uncomfortable but worth it because it looks so great :)

Now I´m finally home from Seinäjoki show (I was travelling after it..) and I can come here to write and THANK you all of the show!
ReplyDeleteI was travel to Seinäjoki from South Finland and in this time I didn´t be in queued, so I didn´t be in front, but still in fourth row, I think and it was good :)
Just before the gig I was really tired to stand and I had a little bit faint or effete condition (which is right word for it, I don´t know) because of standing long time. I already thought I can´t be here in stand so long enough and maybe I will leave somewhere farther to sit. And I started to think why I nearly ALWAYS before Nightwish show have so faint condition and wouldn´t have enough strength to stand?! I hate that feeling. And I started think I don´t so interested to be in gig now, this was really fearful think for me, because I love Nightwish shows and waiting of them is so nice. I don´t know why this thinking in this time. Luckily it went over :D
I always be a little bit nervous before the gig, I don´t know why but I am. This thing too induce bad condition for me, and long time standing :(
And furthermore I be afraid that I will pass out, because I have been passed out once in the gig, and it really didn´t be nice :,(
But.. after my so long whining I can say that always after this awful waiting Nightwish award all that bad to be so lovely <3
When intro started in Seinäjoki I was so over the moon and had delighted from gig. In first song I still had a little bit faint condition, but when Ever Dream started (thank you from that, it was REALLY nice to hear for so long time) I forget all bad and it was wonderful again. The whole show after that was really really wonderful experience and it was one of the best shows in my life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! <3
You all really were so happy face there and I liked it that you were so happy and looked that you really enjoy of show. I didn´t note the rain in show, besides of when you said it, hahah :D After gig I only thought why I´m so wet :D
So, I REALLY love you and Nightwish and Nightwish shows and all. Even if I sometimes before show maybe think I don´t like that thing, the show is still always the best thing of my life and I remember it latest when show starts :)
Now I´m waiting Olavinlinna and Hartwall shows so much and these will be so wonderful show, I already know it. See you there and keep on hepping :D
And besides of Nightwish shows Nightwish is really big thing for me. It sounds stupid, but I can say that Nightwish is my life. I have else life than Nightwish, but Nightwish is so big part of my life. This music is very good music for all feelings and it save my day especially if I´m angry or sad from something. Right music can save the day if the day is so bad :)
So I must thank you and guys too from that all. And especially YOU in nowadays, because you are so happy person and I should take example from you that positive lifestyle and because I can say that you "saved Nightwish". I can´t explain that better, but you made it with you positive energy, lovely voice and of course because you have had so much strength for all this even if you have been sick in the tour often and of course this all have surely been so hard, and however you always have strength to sing, touring and write this blog and all... You are real hero! Our ANGEL :) <3
