Bootlegs...

Ok, guys... here is great proof that bootlegs should be banished and forbidden...

    Wow,they should definitely be forbidden..I've never bought any and I don't intend to spend money on those false stupidities,and I agree with your last sentence..At least people get what they deserve ..Btw nice pictures from Slovenia. I see you had fun on concert and once again I must say that your outfit is amazing! Slovenia is my neighbour country ( I'm from Croatia ) and it is wonderful! I've been there,and the most beautiful time to visit it is in winter in my opinion,but not bad in summer either ;) Hehe Have fun Anette

    wow..... I only get the real thing....

    I.E. i do my research on album-covers and only buy from respectable retailers that would be in hot-water if they tried selling bootlegs...

    Some people make me sick, just wanting to make a buck at the expense of someone else. *shakes head in dismay*

    I DID find Audacity on the PC, thought it had been deleted.... Now to figure out how to convert a file and upload it... granted, it's GOING to be a cover, because I don't exactly know how to get the music for some lyrics I wrote back in September into a semblence of something other than jarring notes....

    That´s odd! I myself own a few bootlegs (the vinyldays you know). Most of em are rare AC/DC live recordings from the seventies. I like them a lot! But I see your point though,,

    But I disagree that bootlegs should be banned, I just think people shouldn't make profit out of them, they should be trade or just be available freely on the internet. To sell them is wrong IMO.
    Because if we're going to forbid (unofficional) live recording, then we have to ban all the live clips from, i.e, youtube too. What's the difference between listening (and watching) a gig in youtube or to a bootleg you download? Basically none.

    but mostly this kind of stuff are made in Taiwan or China (Mainland).

    According to the simplified Chinese words,

    Well, that's very typical for bootlegs. They just don't pay much attention to the cover or printing and it ends it up that way. I think someone had to be a bit drunk while priting the cover though.. I'm sorry Anette but that's hilarious!

    I saw 'Angel Falls First' bootleg with horrible lyric typos and misprints. What a shame. No one wanted to buy it. No wonder.

    Originally bootlegs meant to be illegally acquired copies of western DVDs or CDs for people in China because the government banned thousands of artists releases from the music stores but people wanted to listen so they were smuggling the original copies from the USA or Australia but it quickly turned into a big black market where people were making big bucks from since bootlegs are much cheaper than originals so it flodded the western markets. Oh the irony.. :s A friend from Beijing explained that to me a couple of years ago.

    Wow, that's one big fail right there! I don't see the point in bootlegs myself, they're awful quality and get everything wrong, when for a slightly higher price you can get fab quality, the right tracks, the right pictures and it supports the artist! I don't understand some people...

    goodness, I'm also against bootlegs, but you'd think after about three years people could recognize the covers of the two albums Evanescence has released -_-.
