Painting...

like hell...we are fixing and making the wall look good but it takes its time to measure everything etc...but I will post photos as we progress...;=)

    Enjoy it! I love painnting walls, too, although just like you say, it takes ages to prepare. But better do it right the first time and take your time with it than messing it up and having to do it all over again. Looking forward to the pictures!

    Hi Nettan,

    good luck with the painting. I finished my flat with bf not long ago, but it was like hell...
    Actually, there was also electrician work as well, but after that wallpaper had to be removed, and then base, and the painting...
    But now it has a nice 'sunny orange' color, and it's soo cool.
    Hope you'll find more fun in the painting as I did.
    Oh and please post some photos after you're finished.

    I know what you mean about having to fix the wall before painting it. The previous owner of my house's stomach exploded(not exgaggerating here) so my dad had to clean it up before we moved in. Am I creeped out by the fact that the previous owner died here? Nope.

    Hopefully, today is payday, not sure. I'm celebrating a HUGE weight loss(shrunk 7 inches since November) by treating myself with a new outfit of some type :)

    I'm sure i will enjoy that :D

    It is a bit hard, but I think it's even funnier (specially as it is something you're doing voluntary)
    I couldn't comment before, but they way you said you want to paint the wall sounds a bit the way I want to pain my room's walls.
    In the end you'll say 'it was worth all the effort'

    Have fun with the painting thingy... hope it'll turn out as you planned. I have to do some painting too but I rather wait till summer, and I still have to pick a colour for my room... I guess I'm gonna choose a really light colour, like baby blue or something like that... Damn, now you made me want to paint! hehe...
