This sucks....I have such a bad eye...and I have tried allergy pills, eye drops and also eye inflammation treatment but nothing helps... and no doctor untill tomorrow...;=(
Well well, nothing to do...will look like this today. Weather is great though, really warm still and totally sunny and blue sky;=)
Time for some coffee!
Oww, I hope it gets better soon...and I think it will. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a good day anyway, enjoy the great weather and your coffee of course - that's what I'm doing right now, too. :P
aaaww you poor thing *big hug and a little kiss better near your eye*
ReplyDeletehave you tried bathing it in a very mild solution of bicarb of soda in a little luke warm water.(not sure what bicarb of soda it is called in Sweden) it is very cooling and soothing. I do this when my eyes are sore and it can even be used to clean cats eyes when they have sore eyes.

ReplyDeleteI guess we all have coffee in mind right now :D I just made myself one too :)
Enjoy your day. Hugs :)
Hiya Anette,
ReplyDeleteI've been reading, and loving, your blog from the start, but have never yet commented.
However I just wanted to leave a little tip that might help with your poor eye.
Make yourself a cup of tea, take the bag out and let it cool, then place it over the eye. This should help with the puffiness, and take away some of the redness.
I hope this helps you Anette! x
Ohhh, I hope you get better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteBut I hope you a fantastic day, enjoy the great weather, here in Italy too the weather is fantastic!!!
Have a fantastic coffee!!!
Kiss, Miriam

ReplyDeleteThat really sucks..i've had those too in summertime. Hope you don't rub it too much.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Anette,
ReplyDeletepoor you and your eye, it does look like an infection though.
I agree with what MoominMama said earlier about the tea bag.
If your eye is infected you should place a luke-warm camomille teabag on it for some time, this flushes out some of the bacteria and soothes the itching and pressure.
Take care!
Katrin
OHHH,DONT BE SAD,YOU WILL BE OK,YOU'LL SEE.I ALSO HAVE SENSITIVE EYES,MINE IS GREEN AND MOSTLY OF TIME ARE RED TOO.I DONT HAVE ALLERGY,IS SOMETHING CRONIC. I USE COMFORT DROPS AND REFRESHING EYE DROPS,sometimes it works and sometimes not. . .LOVE AND RESPECT FROM ROXY,ROMANIA
ReplyDeleteHi there and good morning :)
ReplyDeleteOh i have the same eye as you when i go out from shower, because of the shower vapor and chemical shampoo products i used to buy like schwarzkopf and so on.
Fortunately my eyes are better since i use Lush shampoo and their natural shampoo don't irritate my eyes :).
I have a tip for your eye which works for me,to calm your eye wet a glove with fresh water and then put it on your eye and press it a little on your eye.
Every morning my eyes burn a little so i do this and i'm okay :)
Hope this can help you until tomorrow.
Have a nice day take care <3
Ouch, Anette!
ReplyDeleteWhat I find helps (I'm allergic to my cats!) with sore, itchy eyes is to soak a facecloth in cold water and then rest it over the eye.
It only gives temporary relief though :(

ReplyDeleteI see that everybody know the healing properties of the tea bags ;)
Have a nice day :* Fingers crossed! ;)
Oh Anette, take care!
ReplyDeleteum have you tried. Tea Bags.
ReplyDeleteget some teabags soak them in warm water so its actvated then put onto your eye
Hope it helps
*hugs and bunnies*
xxxxx
Aww that looks sore :(
ReplyDeleteLike so many of the others, I too was coming in to recommend the chamomile tea bags. They might not solve the problem but it should help to soothe the eye at least and is more pleasant than rinsing with a salt water solution.
I really hope your eye and allergies clear up promptly, it's no fun having to deal with them.
xxx
Oh =(
ReplyDeleteHope it gets better soon.
Hugs
Oew, that´s not nice.
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets over soon.
Lots of love and lots of hugs,
Fay
Good morning Anette!
ReplyDeleteYou poor poor thing!!! *big big hugs*
I'd say to try chamomile tea but I'm not sure if You're allergic to chamomile :s Chamomile is great for inflammations but better not to risk it.
It think the safest is to do compresses from cold water or put an ice cube for a minute or two. Cold shrinks blood vessels so it should help with the redness.
But the doctor will know the best and please don't go out to the sun today.. It might hurt your eye more!!!
Hope you will feel better!!!!!
Big big hugs,
Karolina
Auwch.. That sucks..
ReplyDeleteI have that too sometimes, and for me it's a relief to put a wet blanket or sth on the eye (cold), it does help a little, but it feels great because it stops the itching for a while.
Hope it'll get better and that your doctor knows a solution!
xx,
Nouky
(And now.. Breakfast!)
aw..poor Anette... ;=(
ReplyDeletesomething like this never happened to me..but it looks painful... ;=(
but don't worry..everything will be ok in the end..and when doctor sees you he'll give you some good medicine.. ;=)
Hi Dear Anette
ReplyDeleteI hope you will take better care of yourself!
With Love!

Morning, Anette :)
ReplyDeleteDude, that looks worse than just allergies, that looks like pink-eye.
Did you have problems opening that eye when you woke up?
Thew reason I say not allergies, pink-eye is because I've seen that before, never had it myself, but I fully empathize with you.
Hugs and hope you get to feeling better,
Falyssa
Ouch! :( Hope you're better now... My eye looked like that last summer when we were in Sweden. :) I don't really know if it was some kind of allergy or air-conditioning in the car or what. Eye drops didn't help though... I bought "fysiologiskt ögonvatten" in a pharmacy in Åre. :D And gave a good rest to my eyes, and said I can't drive now. ;) And it did actually help, I used it many days.
ReplyDeletehey I have the same problem, but mine is worse ´cos around my right eye gets all purple, like I was punched..but it´s all allergy again, and no doctor could help me, they only told me to use some liquids in the eye but didn´t help...when u see the doctor, please let us know what your problem is...
ReplyDeletetake care!
Aww, poor thing, I'm so sorry sweetie!
ReplyDeleteThat makes me feel bad...not sure why, aww.
Maybe it's not allergies(or it would
probably be in both eyes?).
Maybe you have pink eye? That's kinda
what pink eye looks like...
Well let us know what your doctor says.
Hope you get better!
Hugs and love, Katie T.
Hey, Anette!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to see your eye still feels uncomfortable and swollen. I can only give one tip that usually works for me, since I sometimes get red eyes too. I always use chamomile tea compresses which I keep for about 15 minutes, or "blue bottle" flowers tea (I hope this is the name in English), which also works pretty well. Even though compresses with ice-cold water feel better at the moment you're using them, lukewarm ones are safer.
Hope your eye gets better soon! :)
That doesn't look good :S
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I hope you get better quickly!
Love you,
Maria.
Poor Anette!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon!:(
<3
My angel
ReplyDeleteSoon you'll be better, this seem be an eye inflamation! I work in a pharmacy and I see this everyday. Whit sure this is not a serious problem.
Kisses
Hello, Anette.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are that you will get better soon =)
I'm with alergy too, but in the whole face. I don't know what is causing it, but my face looks like it was bombarded in a war.
It's kind of some spots, pimples, acne. It's pain a lot.
I hope you get better =)
Sorry for my English.
Greetings from a fan from Brazil.
Take care.
Fábio
Anette,
ReplyDeleteTotally in agree with previous postings, try Chamomile tea compresses and this might work, better.
Take Care
Alma
Oh dear,
ReplyDeletedid this come out of the allergy?
It looks like a conjunctivitis, you better see a doctor.
there are also ointments for the eyes that stick a bit better than watery drops, you might need an antibiotics and/or cortisone containing one. Go get a prescription and don't try TOO many of these different tips since herbal treatment can irritate even more. don't use camomile or other herbal infusions, they contain pollen and other very small plant pieces that irritate even more. try to cool and rest the eye until tomorrow, okay?
get well soon!
Oh Anette that looks really sore :/
ReplyDeleteWish you all the best <3<3<3
♥u<3
Ouch, that looks very painfull! I hope you get better soon, and don't feel sad about it, it will go eventually :)
ReplyDeleteHellu Anette!
ReplyDeleteI tried so many sites about that allergy and red eyes but i didn't find any of good information...Since that i can only hope you will feel okay and the doctor will make it feel better tomorrow =)
Lots of kisses and hugs to our Anette) Wish you to never feel that ill :)
Inga
Poor little Anette :(
ReplyDeleteJust created a new blog on blogspot, and I wanted to write you a little thing: that you're a model of humility, courage and kindness to me. Of course, you've got so much talent too, your voice, which was already beautiful, is getting more and more impressive!
Will write you mooooore on your blog haha
Hope today is better, have a lovely evening! :)
Lucinda
Hello .
ReplyDeletei think you should get it checked by the doctor in the morning .
i hurt my eye at the stables a few weeks ago and i wanted to stay and work but the staff sent me to the hospital and when the doctor looked at it she said that a peice of hay or straw had cut my eye .
hope it gets better soon .
xxx .
Ohh, this is bad :(
ReplyDeleteI really hope you get it better soon! And that you get facts of your allergies as soon as possible. It surely is awful :,(
A REALLY big hug for you <3
Hi Anette,
ReplyDeleteI know what you are makeing trough. I am also allergique. And for me it are alwyas my eyes who turn out red. So what I do for that is take a washcloth which I make wet with cold water. Then it has to lay down on your eyes and normally the red will go away.
Anyway I hope you had a good day ^^
Xxx
Jojo
When allergies get very bad it can cause "pink eye". Apparently it often happens with children who have hay fever. I hope that your medications work soon! Putting a warm wash cloth on it with all the water squeezed out and then a cold one a few minutes later will help with the itchy discomfort.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need different medication? My eyes got that way and then I had a horrible headache for days and mine wasn't working....
ReplyDeleteLook at the bright side, now you can use and eyepatch and match Tuomas pirate look =) then play the islander ^^.
ReplyDeleteHope you get better soon =)
Jag gissar att du har ögoninflammation :/
ReplyDeleteSorry this is late, but putting cold cucumber over my eyes works for me... hope that helps :)
