My trip to Slovenia started as usual with train and then I flew to Munich, changed flights and then finally landed in Ljubljana. We then had to go by car for 2 hours in the mountains and it was really bad weather, raining like hell and thundering here and there.
When we came to the hotel it was in the middle of nowhere. Just between the mountains, by some water with nothing (and I mean nothing) else out there;=)

Mimi and I got some very nice salad with local cheese and it was delicious! The cheese was so good;=)

Looks like a lovely place, you've been so lucky with your festival locations this year, what with Greenfield and all :D
ReplyDeleteThe place looks nice and I like the view very much eh eh =).
ReplyDeleteHugs
Very pretty place.
ReplyDeleteI like your new shop by the way Anette.
Already bought the bag from it.

Looks like a nice and calm place :)
ReplyDeleteAt least you could spend a little time in the middle of nowhere...at least there were no fans to "stalk" you and stuff :P
Have a very nice day :)
Hugs,
Gerda
wow... that would suck if you didn't even have internet access....
ReplyDeleteOf course, the directions to my house include the words 'turn off this dirt road, and slow down when you come to the low water crossing' so yeah, i live out int he middle of nowhere.
Thanks for posting the pictures :)(that salad made me hungry)
Hugs and love,
Falyssa
Hey Anette!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the concert in Slovenia. For me it was probably the best concert ever actually. :) Our little group from the left side (your right) is really happy that you liked our flag although Marco wasn't too thrilled about it, haha. :D It was such a fun night!
I'm sorry you didn't have the chance to check out the festival area. At the river is a great beach bar and you should've checked it out. :P
Have a nice day and see you in Helsinki!
Mateja
Hi Anette!
ReplyDeleteYou have taken such wonderful photos of the place you visited in Slovenia, that I feel like visiting it! ;-)
Have a continuously great summer!
/Veronika
The hotel surroundings look really lovely and secluded, being so far away from everything else must be perfect to relax and calm down after a noisy festival. Sham about the weather though, it is never nice having to drive through rain but in a foreign country and with having to find your way does not make it easier or less stressful. At least you have Mimi with you all the time!
ReplyDeleteI´m very jealous for you! Why so lovely scenerys there!? :(
ReplyDeleteI WANT TOO! :D
It surely was wonderful! And when you were little time ago somewhere in Alps (I don´t remember place), where you played and saw mountains and starry sky at the same time, WOW!
(But after yours concert in Seinäjoki, I go to Lappland! :))
Can´t wait the gig and travel!

Very beautiful and also calming landscapes.
ReplyDeleteNow I really agree that one of the good things in your job is to see all these beautiful places around the world. You see, at the moment I'm pretty bored to my neighbourhood...:D
Oh, I would so go on a walk there if I had been with you surrounded by those sceneries.
Hello Anette!
ReplyDeleteThank You for the pictures!
May I say that's a really lovely picture of Mimi? I love the glasses :D
Cheese and salad. Mmmm. That's my food! Perfect for lunch!
Sorry to hear about the weather but hopefully the sights made it up for You a little bit ;) The hotel area is beautiful!
