Dark Silk

On saturday I am going to see a premiere of a dance show that uses Nightwish music from our album, Dark Passion Play in it and I am excited;=) Its in Malmö Opera house and the dance group are led by finnish dance master Jorma Uotinen. Tuomas wished he could be there but he is out travelling so he can´t come.

See Skånes Dansteater in this autumns mightiest dance experience at Malmö Opera! The big stage drowned in hundreds of asian lights, seventeen dancers and Malmö Opera orchestra and choir in metal interpretation.

One of Swedens hottest newcomers- Pontus Lidberg - originally created Heart of Silk for the Vietnamese National Opera and Ballet in a Sida sponsored co-operation with Norrlandsoperan. Now it is taken to Malmö and four of the vietnamesian dancers from the original cast meets Skånes Dansteaters ensamble. It is a mesmerizingly beautiful and musical piece to Bachs Brandenburg concert no 4.

After the break the finnish dance master, Jorma Uotinen, bids a premiere of his piece Black Water. Skånes Dansteater rests safely in the hands of Jorma, who e.g have been managing director of the finnish National Ballet during 10 years. To the performance there has also been created a totally new music piece. Jonas Nydensjö has re-made the finnish metal group Nightwish album Dark Passion Play to a symphonic piece that are performed by Malmö Opera orchestra and the female singers from the Opera choir.
