vitamines;=)

Back from the massage and it was good as usual;=) Hot stones is the best for relaxation for sure.

Now I took the advice some of you gave me and took strong c-vitamine and will do so for the whole day to feel better so soon I am better again!

And the sun just came out here which for sure helps for every bad day. its been raining and grey for so long now and that sure can make everyone tired and down. Sometimes I wish I would live somewhere else during the winter time, cause its so dark and gloomy here and many people get really depressed from the lack of sunlight.

I found a cool thing today that I will order. Its a shoe with magnets and stones that triggers the foots zone reflexes. And since I know zone reflex massage helps me, it can for sure be good. I will order one to my mum too;=)

  1. Here in Brazil also have days that the weather is cloudy. Since I live near a river, many times we have a fog in the morning, this leaves the city a little somber, like in the horror movies =O
What my friends of this blog said is right, vitamin C helps a lot. ;-) Drink too much liquid can be water, juice or tea is sure to help a lot too. A hot soup is also a good choice ;-)
I hope you get well soon.
    All the best to you
    Hugs from Brazil =)

I think you'd feel better in Brazil when in Europe/Asia/North America is winter..
I'm brazilian but I grew up in Japan and I prefer winter time, raining day, etc..but at the same time I love the sunset *-*.

Well..I still hope you feel better with your vitamines =DD.

Here in Mexico it's raining and grey too, and that is always very depressing.
When the weather it's like this I just wanna stay at home, into bed and drinking a hot chocolate seeing a good movie or my favorite t.v. serie, unfortunately I have to go to work!!!

About your shoes, my mom have ones like that and she uses when shes tired or some part of her body really hurts and she says it's very relaxing!! =)

Hope that you and your son find a kittie!!!!

  6. Hi A - I know exactly what you mean about the dark nights=(. You go to work in the dark come home in the dark all very gloomy. It's called Seasonal Adjustment Disorder in England or SAD which is very appropriate.
Just have to make the most of weekends I guess.
Those little fizzy Vitamnin C tablets that you put in water are good for a quick energy burst!!

Those massage shoes look the business for stimulating the bodies pressure points and blood flow. Might try myself as it would be good for my back???

Warm and Sunny wishes Peter x

  9. It is raining here.
A sunny day always helps to recover from a ill-health :)

Sometimes I wish to live in a northern country. I like the dark environment, though I would love to see a midnight sun too. I just don't like the depressing mood.
I want to move to Sweden or Finland, or maybe to Denmark or Norway :)

    Get well soon dear Anette.
Nice shoes, by the way. If I had one, I wouldn't stop walking, hehehehe.

  10. Hello my angel!

I also hate the cold weather! I lived in a very cold region of Brazil, but now I moved to a place much hotter, which rarely gets cold! In the summer it rains a lot, but this is not a problem because I love rain, but not cold!

You should move to Brazil in the Swedish winter, I'm sure you'd be very happy! I think the Brazilian people are so happy because we live in a very hot country, it makes people warmer. Whatever, hehehe

A very warm hug for you, maybe you feel a little happier!

  11. Hii Anette =)

    I wish I had a massage today ;p
I have been busy all day with cleaning and scrubbing out a bunny cage ;p.
My cousin + girlfriend are going to South Africa for the winter and I am taking care of their bunny =).
She is so adorable you should see her!

That vitamine idea sounds really good, since its getting colder and colder here too, and so gloomy and dark!
I like the dark days and stuff, but not for as long as it is now.
I pray every morning for some sunlight but when I open the curtains I am dissapointed again ;p.
I hope the weather there and here will get better soon, and also that you get better soon!

    Have a nice evening =)

    Lots of love, Lisa <3

  12. Those shoes are ugly, but they look really helpful! heheh
You said you work for a vet.. Oh!! I once applied for a job in a pet shop here, but I didn't get it because I couldn't work at nights (It was in the mall and I study in the evenings).

But I would love to work somewhere I could play withl little puppies and kittens the whole day.. And I would get paid for that.. IT's a dream job for me.. heheh

For now, I'm studying to become a Portuguese and English teacher. I think I'll start teaching next year. I'm very excited about it because I can get some experience and after I graduate, I wanna teach portuguese for foreings =)

If you wanna live somewhere hot suring the winter there, you should come to Brazil... I wouldn't say Curitiba, where I live, because here it's cold and cloudy too.. Since spring started I think we've only had like 4 days of sun.. but still.. it's probably warmer then in Sweden :P

Well.. hope you get well soon

    hugs

  16. Yay for Vitamines! ^_^

I love stones. Lithotherapy is amazing. I haven't seen stone flipflops but this is interesting. One more thing, no one but You Anette has to wear these because someone else's feet will distrub the energy and it's good to clean them 2 a week at least from the negative energy. Washing for a few minutes in a cold or salty water (sea salt) will do the trick!

    Keep Yourself warm!

    Huggles,
    Karo E.

  17. Hope you get to feeling better. The vitamin C should kick in soon and help. My mother swears up and down by Vitamin C; she says anytime I or anyone gets sick, she says "It's because you're not taking your vitamins." I don't like gloomy days either. They're the biggest demotivators and tend to make me grumpy. Those shoes look really neat; I've never heard of zone reflexes before.

  18. Hey, Anette!
I hope those vitamins and magnet shoes will help you feel better. And indeed, this time of year surely is quite tricky, since the weather isn't winter-cold yet, but the viruses and pretty low temperatures are definitely out there. Take good care of your health!

And can't wait to see the pics of the new kittie! :)

  19. Good Evening Anette !

It's cool that you feel better. C-Vitamine does great things, I experienced it very often last year with the exams and everything...

I actually am concerned in a way in what you said about winter and everything. I can't say that I get depressed in winter, the word is too hard I think, but... I am from Algeria which is a quite hot country in summer (35/40 degrees) and every year I go there in August to visit my family before or after having made a sight-seeing or relaxing trip in another country. And every time I come back from Algiers, I feel happy to go on with my life in Paris, but... Everytime, I get a bit stressed by the coming autumn and winter. Paris is a very grey city this period of the year, not like places which are red and orange in autumn and totally white in winter... The city is grey, the sky is grey and... Finally, my mind gets grey too in a way... So, I understand your feelings ! Oh, how I wish I had enough time and money to go away in a very hot place, just one week this winter ! =) Hope it will be possible ! I should work hard for the exams to be a little in advance... ^^

Well, I wanted to ask you something : those massage-shoes seems quite good ! My mother would love them since she is very stressed and haven't enough time to get a massage, with her job and cooking and cleaning and... (I know, we should help her a little more, we are bad !) So, I wanted to ask you if you can give us the website to find and order those online !

Thanks a lot ! Hope the new cat will feel better with you when he'll come to your home ! It's a very very special and cool gift for your son ! I hope he deserves it, working well at school, being a good footballer and very nice with the adults... Haha ! No doubt, I'm sure he's a good son, because he has a great mother ! ;-)

    Hugs,
    Karim.

  21. Hello Anette !

I think rest, relaxation and vitamines are the good solution to fight virus
Relaxation with massages aren't very accessible and in habits in France, contrary to northen countries. It's also too expansive.
It's a pity because it's better than all medicine!

    I hope you feel better
    Kisses and hugs!!!!!

  22. Yeah, vitamin C and potassium
    should be good for you.

It was gloomy in Ohio last week, but this
    week it's been kinda chilly
but there's still a lot of sun.

Those shoes look a little weird,
but if they help go for it!

    Hugs and love, Katie T.

  23. Hello Anette! I'm really happy you're getting c-vitamines, you'll get better really soon! :D

Oh, you're so right about the sunlight and the emotions of the people. I didn't know about it but a while ago I heard it on TV, that people is affected because in the winter, the sun is down much earlier than usual. For me, it's kind of weird...because at 18.00 (or 6 pm) it's almost all dark! That's why I love summer, 'cause (almost) all the time it's warm and the sun (maybe everywhere) can last until 22.00 at least!

Anyway...that's nature laws and there's no way than pass through it and wait for spring and summer, but hey! What everyone should remember when the sunlight disappears so fast is that they can go home early to be (or not) comfortable with family or pets, and a lo of things like Christmas and the rest is closer and closer :)

    Lots of hugs ^^
