The weeks pass so quickly...

I am always equally amazed how the weeks and days just pass by so fast. Its like: its friday again..already? But since I love fridays I am of course happy it is friday again...hihi!

Today I will skip the gym and go to the city instead to look for some nice things for tomorrow.

And today is a big day for my son: he is going to his first disco;=) Wow, he is a big boy now....so fun! I remember my first disco at school. I was also around 8 years and I had that "typical" disco dancing moves for that age, which is just walking from side to side;=) And then the fright of the boys standing in a row at one end of the room just looking at the girls...but not daring to ask anyone to dance...

My son said that he might ask a girl to dance...maybe;=) haha! Let´s see afterwards;=)

  1. Hii Anette =)

Ah, so cute about your son's disco!
I can remember my first one too, only I was a little older 10 I think.
The community center in the town I lived in always organized these disco's for kids, it was so much fun ;p
I hope he finds a girl to dance with, that would be so brave!

Well, I am going to the police in a minute to make a file about the attack.
I just hope it will be taken seriously, cause I am scared they will not...

    Have a great day!

    Love, Lisa <3

  3. aww, that's so cute! :) Your son is such a gentleman ;) Good luck for him!! I also remember how scary it was to be in discos because I wasn't the prettiest girl (that's why I tried to be the best dancer: mission failed) :D

Oh, those days. Sometimes I wish to be a child again :)

  5. hihi, Boys such ridiculous! I hope, your son will well have a rest in disco! I liked club and pop music earlier, but disco more often didn't visit disco. After acquaintance with Nightwish I in general have ceased to visit them. I do not know the reasons.

  7. I feel often that when I have nice time, the time passes by very fast. But you are right, I was thinking this morning that it's again friday. =) And today my autumn vacation starts! Jippii!

Oh my god, I remember my first disco! :D It was my school's disco. I was...how old was I? I think I was 8 years. There wasn't so many students in our school so there wasn't so many people in the disco either. So the few there were didn't have the courage "to dance". :D I remember that I did dance but I don't think I had any cool moves. I remember that my favourite teacher were there as the superviser and then she and her husband danced there tango or something and I watched them admiringly.

Then when I was 12 we had another disco that I remember. At that time I knew how to dance very cool ;) but the dj was one boy from my class and he just played rap music which none of us liked. So we girls just stood there by the wall, talked and the dj just played the rap. :D Oh my god how funny it must have looked like!

I hope your son will have fun at the disco =)

  9. Oh, that's so nice - he is a big boy ;)
Can't wai to read your thoughts of Black Silk! I'm going to see it on Wednesday with my boyfriend, and I'm SO excited! And can I ask you a favor? To find out if it's allowed to take pictures? Because I've promised LizLunatic that I would :)

Have a great Friday and enjoy the shopping :)

    Love, Mads

  10. God morgon, Anette!

I agree, the weeks go by so fast. And it seems the older we get, the quicker time flies, doesn't it? This year has gone by really quick for me. I can't believe it's almost Christmas already. Funny how a day used to feel more like a year when I was a kid at school. The days used to drag then.

How nice for your son. Hope he has fun! I remember my first disco too, even if it was such a long time ago! I think I was about 11 or 12. I had some funny dance moves too. In fact, I probably still have!

Hope you have a great time in the city.

Lisa: Good luck. I'm sure they will take it seriously.

weeks I'll be moved to a new school actually.

Never had a disco, but we did have
    flashback days the week of
    homecoming dances(which is actually
this week). But I'm not going...

    Aww, that's so cute,
I hope he gets the courage too,
    show those other boys up!

    Hugs and love, Katie T.

  20. I hope your son will have lots of fun at the Disco =)
You won't hear me about weeks passing by so quickly, only about weekends passing by so quickly.. I'm drowning in tests at school right now >.<' Today I just had this French test, and I was totally stressed out because French is one of the subjects that made me redo the year.. I fail so damn hard in French.. But the test went pretty well, fortunately, I still have the tests from last year in mind, one level higher in school xD

    Have a nice day!

And The dances are the same all over the world, aren't day?? Back in my days, the boys would sit in one side.. the girls on the other.. and nobody had the guts to ask anyone to dance.. it was so funny..
