First song
So, yesterday I sent a first song to Anders that I made 3 years ago. I dont know if its something we can use but I want him to listen and see what he feels about it;=)

It's a beautiful tree we have here in Paraná (BR). The symbol of our state. It gets really colourfull in spring. there's yellow, white, pink.. really beautiful.. here's a picture for you.

My absolute favourite is calla. I know its often a funeral flower but i think it is the world's most beautiful flower...
ReplyDeleteBut my other favourite is red poppy. On the Hungarian fields it grows a lot and they're beautiful when the whole field is red. I love it.
Today I am a bit bad. I quit school in the morning cuz I was really tired, almost went off in a faint... Plus i really hate Thursday. But I bought a book of Coelho, I have time to read now.

ReplyDeleteMy two favorite flowers are gerberas and roses. Gerberas because they're just so beautiful in any color and there is timeless elegance in roses. Both work in all occasions and you can really play with the colors.

ReplyDeleteI like flowers and plants in general a lot. I guess I don't really have a favourite flower, as I grew up in a garden of flowers, so to speak... My mom loves flowers and plants and gardening and stuff, so I had my balcony filled with flowers all the time while growing up, like fuchsia, carnations, violets and pansies, and a cactus "echinopsis", which once surprised us with over 10 beautiful flowers at the same time and made me and mum very happy... We even had a home-grown lemon tree and an avocado plant for a while, because my mom loves experimenting.
Now I live in a tiny little flat and only have a rose plant in front of my window, a beautiful "black baccara". I have to figure out what to do with it during the upcoming winter though, as I fear it might freeze if left outside.

That's a tough question. All flowers are so nice and beautiful, but I guess my favourite is simply a rose. The only bad thing in them is that they don't last. =( And then I like gardenias and orchids.

i really enjoy the scent of lavender. i know it's more bushy but those tiny violet/blue flower heads and the scent... mhhhh, i enjoy it the most.

ReplyDeleteThere are so many nice flowers out there, but I like roses, orchids, lilies,... I also used to pick a certain purple flower as a child, but I don't know the name in English. I looked it up for you and I did find the Latin name: Cardamine pratentis. In Dutch just "pinksterbloem".

I love Echinops Bannaticus, I think they were called Blå bolltistel in Swedish. And several types of rhododendron, they come in amazing colours and are a wonderful object for macro photography^^

Personally I love almost every kind of flowers, but I would mention tulip,lilla, rhododendron, sunflower, geranium, lotus, and of course rose.
Thats a toughy, I pretty much love spring flowers, such as daffodils, snowdrops, tulips, then wild poppies and bluebells.

Here in Japan I can find a lot of different kind of roses and I love taking pictures of them!! Roses, whites and specially red roses.

All of them with their different colours and shapes tell me something about Mother Nature's miracles =) But cyclamen is dear to my heart because it was my great-grandmother's favourite, she loved its delicate and bright purple colour, so it brings me sweet memories of her =)
And about the song you sent to Anders... Funny, yesterday I had a dream that I was talking to you and you sang for me a verse of a song you had written... and I thought "wow, that melody is so nice and sweet, it's going to be a great song!" =) So, hopefully this will bring you luck with your song and your whole solo album =)

I have two favorite flowers. The first one is the same as yours, lily of the valley. When I was a kid we used to have them growing near our house but now I haven´t seen them in there in years...the other favorite flower of mine is lilac.
I never thought much about it but a flower I always thought is the Carnations, they are beautiful. I always liked most of plants such as bonsai or else a little shrub that my grandmother always cultivated, called violeiteiras. Here is a picture of them:

ReplyDeleteI personally love irises and freesias. The first ones don't really have a scent, but they look lovely and the combination of colors, the shape of the petals are just beautiful, and freesias are so delicate and feminine and smell wonderfully!

ReplyDeleteYour question: Sunflowers, because they're yellow. And I become happy of the colour yellow. When I look out the window of my bedroom I see a few of those in the backyard. I always feel a little 'yay :)' when I see them.

ReplyDeleteI love especially quite common flower, it´s maybe sometimes like a weed, but so simple and beautiful... After I looked into dictionary, I found it´s called ,,moonflower" - but I truly had no idea this is in English truly the bloom we used for the really first logo of our band (yeah, I´m a big composer, keyboardist...eeeh :D:D you´ll hear of me soon :D:D)...in the time the band was called Moonflower! I really didn´t know it... we thought it´s Moonflower just like ,,Flower of the Moon", you know... so, I have to thank you for such ,,enlightening finding" :D:D Seriously, then... I love these moonflowers and roses too, of course ;) nothing compares to roses! =)

I like tulips. I also love lantanas. I think in English the name is lantana too. We have some here in our backyard.
They are pretty nice flowers, two or three different colors in the same flower, and it also has smalls squares in the center. I don't know how to explain well, but you can check the picture =)

I showed a picture of a lily-of-the-valley when you posted in your blog some months ago to my mum and she loved it.
She wanted to grow some in the backyard, but I think this flower wouldn't stand the hot climate here, although it is not that hot.
I am not sure, I just did a fast research and figured out that "the plant is native throughout the cool temperate Northern Hemisphere in Asia and Europe and a limited native population in Eastern USA" (Wikipedia).
My mum was so sad after that, she really loved lily-of-valley, well, she loves flowers =)
