ReplyDeleteDid you know a woman on ebay had auctioned
off the crypt above Marilyn Monroe
for millions of dollars to help her pay off
her house bills? And her husband was in it!
Hope you have a good day!
Hugs and love, Katie T.
She was a good woman and she was really pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice if D&G made some designs about her=)
Btw. Have you seen a picture of my dress design for you?? I think that you would look great in it. It's not a long dress. Please take a look

So i'll go with the cheaper versions.

Realy for those who like the Marilyn Monroe of these clothes are very beautiful. Thanks for the suggestion of movies, Horror is my favorite genre of movie Muahahahaha:-D
ReplyDeleteAh, now I almost forgot, in the post "What were Kanye thinking?" the video that you chose was withdrawn by youtube. You may choose another video like that, youtube did not withdrawn.
Good luck in Copenhagen today, all the good for you.
Peace =)

ReplyDeleteOh I love Marilyn!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young I was really fascinated about her. I had her pictures on my wall, I watched her every movie and had all her songs. Theres just something about her. Fragile beauty..
I guess the younger generation doesent even "know" her so well, so its great that D&G did this. The dresses look gorgeous! =)
Oh my god! I want the whole collection too ;D

I LOVE YOU ANETTE!!!
Lots of kisses

Hello Nettie
ReplyDeleteI like those clothes, but D&G.. to expensive for me.
I hope you had a wonderfull day in Copenhagen!
I certainly had a very interesting day!
I decited to go to school again, and I went to that school to register me. So next week, I'm have classes again!
I have my diploma to teach, but there is something missing here in my life. So I'm going to study practical psychology! :)
PS: Marilyn Monroe had indeed a great figure, I thought she wasn't that skinny as the models today on the runways.
Greetings
Daphne

ReplyDeleteAll those outfits are just breathtaking and look awesome, but the second dress is just WOW! Not only the print and the theme, but also the shape, and it looks SO light, flowing and comfortable to wear!
Great idea from D&G. Marilyn is indeed a great source of inspiration and an icon that will be out there forever.
Thanks for the pictures, awesome collection!
Hello Anette
ReplyDeleteThanks for the posts today. I appreciate you more than you know. I really enjoy reading you blog :)
Pretty nice collection, Marilyn Monroe is a great woman.
My mom likes her!
Hope you are having or had a great time at Copenhagen. Have a safe back trip home!
Fábio
I don't know why people admire Marilyn Monroe because I wasn't even born at that time :D Those are very beautiful dresses. I could buy one too. Usually I don't like those kind of "prints" or images on clothes but those are very nice.
ReplyDeleteI bet they cost a fortune :(
Wooow!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the last one, is just :O!! It would be nice for a show though..
How are you Anette?
Hope you're day in Copenhagen was so good, I started school today so it was not that good.. but anyway, hope did you enjoy!!
Now on my way enjoying myself a coffee and going to sleep in a few.. Good Night!!
Hugs and Love.
Nelu
Nettan Hello!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of Marilyn Monroe!
Marilyn is beautiful, I also like Betty Page!
But Marylin is special!
Anette every day more beautiful!
With love!
Barby!
Hei Anette !
ReplyDeleteAbout the dresses, I prefer the second one... But they are all so nice ! I also think that Marilyn Monroe is one of the BEAUTIFULEST women in the world. =)
So... It's really late and my flight to Helsinki is in less that 9 hours now, so that I have to go to bed ! But I wanted to wish you a great great show before ! To me, it will be for sure the GREATEST SHOW I've ever seen. I needed (and my best friend too) soooo much to come in Helsinki to say goodbye to you. We will cry, for sure ! =P And we will take the rest of the week to visit Helsinki. We will go to museums, lakes, Suomenlinna, etc. ... I'm sure it will be cool. I can't wait ! I am a bit stressed to... It's my first trip without family, so I have to make everything on my own. Ooooh... I talk TOO MUCH !
To finish : just have a great week in Helsinki as I will surely have, a great great final show too, and, maybe our eyes will cross each other's ones !
Hugs, kisses, and more than everything : "Merci beaucoup !".
Karim, from France.
Oh, I just come back to add that I've just seen for the first time videos of your gig in Sauget in May '09. God, you were so beautiful ! I love your dress and your hair ! And you seemed completely touched by Grace when you sang Creek's Mary Blood ! I hope you will do it the same in Hartwall Areena, if John is there. It would be a big surprise for us.
ReplyDeleteHugs Anette ! See you on saturday ! (Now, I reaaaaaally have to go to sleep if I want to wake up and do not miss my flight tomorrow morning !)
Oooh, they look really nice. Have fun and good luck in Helsinki! =)
ReplyDeleteOh, also, I was thinking: you should get a Myspace so that we fans can talk to you in a more private manner. In a know a few people had questions that were more personal. It's what Anna Murphy of Eluveitie does; I've been lucky enough to talk to her.
Cheers!
Eep.. that's WAAAY too girly for me... The occasional skirt is awesome, dresses not so much.. but the big poufyness is yikes!
ReplyDeleteDid you hear about Patrick Swayze? He died last night :( I'll miss him. Ghost is one of my favorite movies, and I'm sad that he's gone, but at least he's not in pain from the cancer anymore :S
I tried making the oopsies yesterday, and failed miserably... I blended the cream-cheese mixture with a mixer, since I was trying to be quick about it... I learned the hard way that's not a good idea, so I ended up salvaging it by adding dry brownie-mix to it, yummie... and really, really, rich :P
Hugs, and love
Falyssa
Good Morning Anette,
ReplyDeletethe third and the fourth dress are in my opinio the prettiest.
Have you heard that Patrick Swayze passed away this morning? I am already digging out my "Dirty Dancing" DVD and will watch it again today - I love that movie so much!
Have a nice Tuesday,
Katrin
Hello Anette!
ReplyDeleteI never been a fan on endorsing famous figures that way (too commercial) but I must say that these dresses are very beautiful. Especially the second one! I'd totally put it on!
@Falyssa: I'm very sad about Patrick Swayze's death. Was really hoping for his recovery :(
Love,
Karo E.
