Morning;=)

Ah, sunday finally and just two more days before going to lovely Helsinki;=) It feel great to soon be on my way there again. I want to get a hold of some Mumin things again and this time its the deep plates that are gonna be in my suitcase on my way home;=)

The little english looking bag I said I wanted yesterday, is soon in my hands too. My bf:s sister was so kind and sweet that she got it for me in Stockholm, since they have so much more up there.

Tomorrow I am going to Copenhagen to have a nice stroll there and enjoy the city. I love living so close to such a big continental city as Copenhagen. When I was 17 years I started going to Copenhagens Music Conservatory to have lessons every week and the great thing with Denmarks and its people is that you can sit and sing your warm-up in the train without anyone looking at you, thinking: is she crazy...mental? haha!
Also, danish people are so much more open to different fashion styles and colours. They are also one of the biggest influences with their big danish fashion designers and I have loved Designers Remix Collection and By Malene Birger for a long time. I have worn both these designers a lot during our tour and my favourite dresses are from them;=)

I also love going to "Nyhavn" to have a nice dinner in the evening. The photo are from Nyhavn;=) They have some amazing restaurants there and I have had the best pasta there;=)

  1. A beautiful picture :]
And I must say I look forward to your new album even though I'm crazy about metal, and no fan of rock. But everything with your voice in it is worth listening to!

  2. God morgon, Anette!

I've never been to Finland or Denmark but I'd really love to go one day. Helsinki and Copenhagen look great. I do visit Sweden a lot though, but I've only been to Gothenburg, Falkenberg and Lund so far. I love Scandinavia.

    Have a nice day.

  3. Danmark är verkligen underbart :) Jag älskar också människorna där. De är mycket mer öppna som du säger.
Jag vet inte riktigt dock om jag vågat sitta själv och sjunga på tåget haha. Kanske med någon i sällskap ;)
Ha en go dag i Köbenhavn! :)

  4. Hej Anette Good morning to you too!
Its so nice to know youre gonna be here in Helsinki and I cant wait for the next weekend!
Im so excited about your gig and Im just as excited about meeting Katrin.
I met her here in your blog and she seemes to be such a sweet and fun girl. And Im sure we are going to have so much fun with her and her friends.

I have no Nightwish fan friends here in Helsinki but Im so happy to got to know them over the interet. I guess this is the modern way to make friendships. =)
I wonder if you Anette have ever got to know anyone like this =)

I love Copenhagen too, its such a special city!
Its quite expensive but soooo nice. =)

  5. I love Copenhagen, been there two times already, I found it a very peaceful, romatic yet vivid city.
Wow you are leaving so soon already for Helsinki, how nice. Guess there is a lot of preparation and rehearsals to do for the last big show.
I will be in Helsinki, too, from Thursday onwards and will think of you wheneer I see something from the Moomins =)
Enjoy your days at home and the new handbag!

  7. Good morning to you, too, Anette :)

The description of Copenhagen sounds very nice, and from what I've seen of Helsinki, it's a lovely city, as well, so I envy you in your abilty to travel (in the nicest way, of course :P)Helsinki is DEFINANTLY on the list of places to visit before I die, not that I see that happening anytime soon, hehe.

This is probably going to sound really lame or cheesy, but I MUST thank you for having this blog... helps ease the boredom of my little town. The pictures you post and the way you describe the things that you do helps... transport me and make me feel as if I'm a part of your life beyond that of just another fan :) So thank YOU for the opportunity, and for something positive when MY personal life gets troubled... it really helps, and I can't thank you enough for that. I smile everytime I read one of your blog posts.

    Hugs, and all my love,
    Falyssa

  12. Hi! =D
The picture is very beautiful, hope you have lots of fun =).
Unfortunately, I won't be at the last gig of this tour =(, because Finland is so far away from Portugal and it's a bit expensive ... it makes me a bit sad but there's always a new tour. Hope you and the boys come to Portugal again on the next tour =).
And I agree with Falyssa, thank you so much for this blog ... it makes me smile every time =).

    Big hugs <3

  14. God dag!

You know what? I saw a dream last night and I saw there your boyfriend. It's crazy cause I don't even know what he looks like or who he is :D
In my dream you were in a gig with Nightwish and your boyfriend was in the backstage. (Don't get scared about this, I'm not asking you to show your bf or say his name to us cause I know you won't do it and I do understand that totally. I just had this dream and I think it's funny I saw your bf even though we haven't seen him :D)

I have an image of danish people that they are very glad people. I don't know where this image has come from since I haven't been in Denmark and I can't remember that I would have watched any danish series on tv. I actually don't know so much about Denmark.

By the way, thank you very much for answering to my question. I really appreciate it. It takes so much time. Thanks =)

  17. Oh Anette, as you are such a big Mumin-fan, you should definitely go to Turku/Naantali to the Muumimaailma (Muminworld). Best would be with your son because it's a huge paradise for kids with the real mumin figures walking around there :) I was 23 when I went there and I felt like a child again and was so happy being in the Muminworld.

And, there's also the Muumilaakso in Tampere, it's a small museum also for children but also adults and it shows the original drawing of Tove. That is also pretty nice. :)

I loved my time in Finland especially the Mumins :)

    Have a nice day !

  18. Hii Anette =D

Aww, I am so jealous that you're going to Copenhagen!
My mum's best friend was from there and we used to go there every year when I was younger, I love that city so much!
I hope you have a great time there, but I know you will ;p
I'm so tired now ;p, I just came back from a festival where Epica was playing (you know them right?) and it was amazing!

I really hope you have a great time in Copenhagen and of course in Helsinki =D

    You're an angel!

    Love, Lisa

Well that was nice of her!
It is a very cool bag.

I hope you have a nice time in Copenhagen,
    travel safe!

I'm off with my best friend and some
family members to go to a metal festival,
I'll check in your blog later,

  23. Hello Anette,

I recently spent my vacation in Denmark, two weeks cycling through the countryside and going over for a short visit of copenhagen ( didn't see too much of it though, I was busy shopping and spending way too much time on rollercoasters in Tivoli!:-))
I felt the same about the flair in this city, even though it's quite lively and "capital-like" I felt a bit easier than I did in London, for example. And I could have sung in the trains? Ahh, should have known that before!:-))

    Have an nice Sunday,
    Julia

  26. Hey Anette :)
It was great to hear all these things. I hope you enjoy your trips. I lways wanted to visit Finland...since I was younger.
Everything I hear about some cities, including Helsink, sounds amazingly, so nice. So, first thing I will do when I have some extra money, is to make a tour of Europe :)

    Have a good sunday!

  27. Hello, Anette!
I'm glad you got that bag you wished for. Looks pretty practical, but also very nice in a fashionable way, really glam and eye-catching. :)
And those plans for tomorrow sound awesome, hope you have a great time in Copenhagen! Also, Danish people seem pretty cool from what you said. People here wouldn't only look at you if you started vocalizing near them, but they'd also probably tell you some nasty thing too :/ .
Anyhow, have fun there, the pic you posted looks lovely!
    Big hugs!

  32. I recently moved to Sweden from Denmark, and I find the Swedish to be more open to different fashion styles than the Danish! Maybe that's just because I'm not from Copenhagen, I'm sure people are pretty open there! :)
    Have a great trip!

  34. Oh, you're coming to Helsinki that early! Welcome! :) Hihi... if only I could, I'd love to take you for a walk around Helsinki Design District -- lots of fashion, clothes, shoes & jewellery shops with products from young and original local designers ;)

    http://www.designdistrict.fi/design_district

Oh, and there should be a good Moomin shop at least in Kämp Galleria shopping center on Norra Esplanaden... ;)

Have a nice time in Copenhagen -- I agree, it's a wonderful city! And, here in Helsinki as well -- hopefully you'll have some free time too between the rehearsals and whatelse. The weather should be brilliant, too! :)

  37. hej!

    Kram, Emilia =)
