Since Thailand and due to my jet-lag my sleeping time is still not as usual.. I fall asleep around 20 or 21 and then wake up around 7 in the morning... I go up and let the boys sleep. Put on a pot of tea, make me two sandwiches and then just slide down in my armchair and just enjoy the day awakening outside. From being totally dark when I get up, after 1,5 hour it starts to be a little bit brighter and soon the sun will be up.
The boys are still sleeping and I am just enjoying my "lonely" time before everything starts and the day is alive...;=)

First of all, I wish you a very very happy, peaceful, filled with love, successful year for 2010.
Lots of people said that this year will be much better than 2009 and I feel it too ;)
I love watching the morning while it's dark, as it starts to wake up :) As the birds wake with the sun or the light and you can hear them and feel the peace of the day before it gets hectic and noisy...
Hope your day will be lovely.
Unfortunately I'm back to work :( It was a really nice holiday and I'd love to stay at home for longer ... :)

When I was in Sweden back in the autumn I used to wake up at 5 or 6 a.m. and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the day before everyone else woke up. I can't do this back home in London though because it's too stressy and noisy, and everyone is rushing about (me included).

It is a amazing moment when the sun goes up :)
all this wonderful red, blue and slightly yellow looks beautiful.
its not so long ago since i saw the last dawn it was from 24th december to 25th december. i worked from 10pm to 8am.
and after work, i walked out of the Titanic city(the club where i work from time to time)with Martina on my side and then we saw, the sun was about to rise up. We stopped and took a long look into the sky. gosh, that was wonderful :)

i was waking up at 4 o'clock and it was cold outside .. here in east of london i means .. still yesterday here in 'east' was snowing a little bit of snow ,then the snow was corver the grass ,i don't know to name how its called this kind of snow but i know in my languages which is called "bruma "where finaly i drink my coffee and mess up my bed ....hey i remeber something with icesnow yah hurray my english is start to improve ....:D
i'm so happy i call my college but they tells me that the main lessons are closed until tomorrow ...

ReplyDeleteGood morning Anette, this is good to relax hehe, When I worked night, (I was concierge of a company) I loved to sit and watch the dark, mainly 5 to 6 hour of morning when the sun comes and when my shift ended. =) good times hehe =D

ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty great thing to do sometimes. I like to sit outside the house late in the night often to see the sky, especially since I like astronomy so much. Then I wait to the sunrise. And to feel more relaxed and comfortable, I listen to some music.

I like to sit in the dark sometimes. During my winter break my sleeping hours turned upsidedown and I woke up 3 pm and went to sleep 6 am... :D So I saw when it was very dark and when it got brighter. It was very nice but now when I have to go to school my sleeping routines are very hard to change :D
