New week

Another week starts again and new things to do;=)

I have so much clothes and no space to put them in our apartment so tomorrow I am going to get an outside storage place for rent. Since it will take some time before next tour and I want to save all the clothes, its a good and smart thing to put them there for storage.

I still need more closets for the normal clothes so we´re going out hunting for that today. We first talked about building them ourselves and make them look "old" and vintage, but after talking to a friend who is an expert on it, he suggested us to buy a cheaper one in e.g IKEA and then paint it ourselves to get that vintage look. So lets see what we find;=) I love the french country side look so something like this would be perfect;=)

  1. Good morning, Anette!

I like that French wardrobe, I also really love the antique Scandinavian look.

Yes, another week begins. I can't believe how quick this month has gone. I've got lots to do this week too. I've finished my vampire novel and so I'm going to start sending it off to agents in the hope that I'll get it published soon. Plus, I've got lots of other stuff I need to sort out.

Hope you have a great week,
    Marie

  2. Hej Anette, i wish you and your family a good day and week :)

Wow, nice closet. It look a bit frenchy, reminds me things i saw when i was a kid...

Other than this, too much clothes, WOW!!! It'd be a nice thing, to have a big choice (and i imagine it would be nice to buy clothes because you like them, not because you need them. I do this for shirts sometimes, but that's all - unless it's used clothes, or when i'm very lucky, like with my lovely black velvet Laura Ashley jacket, brand new for 3 euros (!), with some silk in it and a pink inside).
I hope you will found ice closets for your clothes, good luck for the hunt! :)

  3. Hii Anette =)

This morning was not so good for me and my family.
We just got a phonecall that our cousin has passed away.
He had cancer for almost 5 years now so it is the end of his suffering, but he was only 46 years old and had a family with kids my age.
I didn't know him untill a year ago but he was such a good person, and a dear friend to my mother as well.
She is so sad right now I just want to stay home and comfort her, but today I have exams...

(im sorry if this bothers you, i just felt like i had to get this off my back )

Hope you have a nice day though,
    Lots of love, Lisa <3

  4. I went to Ikea for the first time 2 weeks ago, it's so cool there :D

I am also getting my new wardrope from there too, I just got all of my important bedroom stuff from there and re-doing my room. Nice white walls then my display wall will be black with pretty white and silver flowers on it.

  6. Good idea Anette. I know your saving your clothes but another singer from a Dutch Symphonic band called Delain (Marco has played with them so everyone may know about them) has put some clothes up for auction for Haiti.. I think this is such a nice idea. Here is the link for anyone interested as it all goes to charity :-)

  9. That's some collection, will you ever get rid of some of them?

Angela Gossow of Arch Enemy sells a lot of her clothes on Ebay after a tour. Quite a nice earner!!

  10. Wish I could say the same: to many clothes to fit my closet, I love clothes :)
I see you want to save all the clothes, so no selling then? I would do the same, wouldn't want to miss the clothes! :)
Talking about clothes, Charlotte Wessels from Delain (dutch band, maybe you know them?) is selling some stageclothes for Haiti. I've done my bidding ;)

  11. Wow, I dont had idea that you had so many clothes, hehe. =)
It really is a good idea to keep them in a storage. But I was thinking, there are many people who have few clothes to wear, and in this cold season it becomes much more difficult for them. I'm not suggesting that you donate all these clothes to these people, but surely you must have some old clothes you do not like to use more, so.... have you thought about donating some to those who do not have a good financial condition? It would be a noble attitude, and I'm sure you already should have thought of something like this, after all, you have a good heart. Of course that is your decision, it's just a sugestion ;-)

I hope you have a great day

Good luck in hunting for the closet, it's really beautiful =)

Hugs and all best wishes from Brazil =)

I was thinking the same than Deze, and was close to post it, but i still feel a bit shy...
Still, if one day you want to sell some of your clothes, it would be nice (and i'll do my best to buy something, a cute thing i could wear). :) (Deze, thanks for posting!)

  23. http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/90141859 this would be a perfect choice. :) I have a black one and I just love it. :) I have all my pretty clothes hanging there and all our towels and sheet below inside the drawers. :) I got it from my grandmother as a housewarming gift and now it reminds me of her, she passed away last autumn. She never saw my new appartment. :(
