Answers again

Good evening!

Time for some more answers to your questions:

1) Did you ever practiced some sport?
- Yes, I have played football for some years and danced jazz dance for several years. Also tried jiu-jitsu and team handball.

2) Which is you favourite sports?
- I like ice-hockey, horse riding, gymnastics and athletics.

3) When you went at school which was you favourite subject?
- Music and english

So I would like to know, if you have one dream that you haven't realize yet ?
- Yes, I want to become a mid-wive and deliver little babies;=)

What is for you the best place to visit in Sweden? I want to visit your dear country in February !
- Oh, you should definitely visit where I live - Helsingborg. It´s more of a summer city though but still, we have so much beauty to see here. And I also love Stockholm so that is a great place to go to.

And, about your blog, do you will tell us again about fashion's trend ? Because it thanks to you that i have discover Karen Millen, and now, I love it soo much ! ;-)
- I would love to write more about fashion since it something I love myself so I can absolutely do more of that. Great that you love Karen Millen. I do too, they have so nice dresses and cool shoes, bags etc;=)

A bit more about the time in the studio, if possible..: ))) or anything about the new album. i know that you can not get into details, but your feelings about the songs or something like that. yeah, this would be fun to read: )
- I promise to write about everything I can and when I enter the studio in march I will of course take photos, do video blogs and write about my feelings and how it goes. Also when we go to London in february I will blog about that, so just keep reading in here to see when I talk about the album and its progress;=)

I want ask you, if you and NW will visit Czech republic at incoming leg. And the 2nd ask: Do you remember momments from performings in Czech rep. and do you like Czech, czech things...?
- We still havent done the next tour planning so I dont know where we will go and what cities but I hope we´ll visit Czech republic;=)

1) Touring seems like it would be very taxing on a person. How do you get any privacy in the bus (or Rest), do you have a small room or area that you can get away from people.
- Yes, touring is a bit hard when it comes to the privacy;=) We are some people in the bus. Usually 7-8 people + the bus driver so I do try and get away into my little "bunk", that is my bed;=) In the bus we have around 12 beds normally and they are "stacked" in 3. I usually try to get the lowest one or the middle one so I dont have to climb so high up in the night. The beds are covered with curtains which makes it easier to get some privacy so I lie there and read books or watch dvd-boxes on my computer. I promise you I watch and read a LOT of books and movies on tour;=)
Before getting on stage I take the back room in the bus to change my clothes and do my warm up or if we have a backstage I have my own room which is really nice since I am the only female on tour. We also have hotel stays now and then and then I can relax in my own room and that is so nice;=)

  3. Hi Anette, that's very interesting. I used to practice Football too when i was younger haha

I have a Question for you. What did you like most about Mexico?

And another question. If you weren't a singer, what would you choose to be? Like a profession or something =).

  4. Hey Anette,

I have been rejected from two university music schools this year which is really depressing! I'd just like to ask, have you ever had times where you have been rejected, to do with your singing, and have you ever gotten to the point where you have wondered for a moment if you should give up on your dreams? I'm trying not to think like that because I know it is what I want to do, and no matter how many years it takes I am determined to do it. It does make me wonder if I am actually terrible! But even if I am, it is what I love and I am going to do my best to do it.

  5. Thanks for answering my question on touring. I am sure after a long tour with the band I can see how people would get snappy with each other. You guys must joke around with each other to keep the santity going:) Have a great night and thanks again.

  11. Sarah: Hi! I can say that it´s been so many "no´s" in my life when it comes to singing that I have been thinking many times that I should just give up. But somewhere deep within me I just havent been able and luckily I finally got to be a full-time singer;=) I have also applied to severeal music schools and gotten rejected so all I can say is: to be a singer you dont need to go to a music school. You can succeed without it if you are determined. So just keep on singing in bands, choirs and maybe enter talent shows etc. Send demos to the record labels. Try and do songs and record. And have fun on the way;=)

  13. Anette,
Wouldn't if be great if we could trade jobs for a day? I am not a midwife, but I'm a labor and delivery nurse. I can't sing tho I love music dearly. I adore your voice! You could be an important part of birth process and I could sing for just one day!

  17. Wow, I didn't know you ever practised ju-jitsu! I practise it too, along with aikido. Thanks for the answers. :-)

  18. Jiu Jitsu it's fun! I used to pratice belly dance, karate and Ju Jitsu! But my health made me stop everything. My bones, my back and my extremely frail health stoped me from doing most of the things I like... But I don't care. I almost died some years ago, so, surviving a hard surgery it's good enough for me! I miss doing these activities, but it's better to be alive, hihi!

And pleeeeaaaseeee post photos and videos and stuff when you're in the studio! I will long for it *o*

I have never seen Nightwish live, and when you were here at March, 2007, I haven't even know.
Don't know anymore why, but when I found out, I was mad because I didn't go.

Big hugs and thank for answers!

  20. Hi.

This is an old post but I have to leave a comment now. If I have read this post before I would have noticed that you said that you would like to be a midwife! Unbelievable, because I wanna be a midwife and I have wanted that many years! :D But it's so hard for me to get in to that school. :( I'm living in Helsinki, it's more harder in here and I don't want to move out. I have applied to Metropolia university of applied sciences. I want to work with women and I'm very interested in women's diseases and deliveries. This time I'm studying practical nursing, my training program is mental health and drugs and it's ok. But my biggest dream is to be a midwife and I'm trying so much to realize it. Sometimes it's hard but I'm really trying. I know it's my way.

Have a nice time in L.A. and see you at gigs in Finland. ;)

    Hugs, Krista
