Memory lane
Sitting here looking through my photos and I feel I want to share some with you. I must say being pregnant with Nemo was a wonderful journey and to see the photos of me, I remember how I was "glowing" from within thanks to him, even these last photos when I was full of liquid. Still feeling light and happy. The first two photos are from the delivery room;=)
And now I am glowing when he is here, all the time. Gives me such joy every day;=)

Oh, you have a Louis Vuitton bag? I have been craving for one for many years but they are so expensive! Maybe after saving money for five years I can afford to buy one little tiny LV bag.. I'm not bitter at all as you can see.. :D
ReplyDeleteI gotta say that you really had the glow that pregnant women have. You look so "fresh" in those pics. And that dress is just beautiful! Almost like a wedding gown :)
It's nice to see that even though you were pregnant you still kept on wearing those kind of trendy Anette-like clothes. For example in that first pic you have that "bling-bling" belt. Of course there's nothing wrong if someone wears not-trendy clothes during pregnancy :)
Good evening Anette! The pics i like more are the first and second. The most beautiful thing for one woman is to have a child, i guess it not to be a greatest joy. In these pics you look amazing and in great shape!

Anette this has made me look through my pregnancy photos too, and brought back all that emotion of the journey and the birth.
ReplyDeleteIt is the most amazing and magical journey and experience a women can go through.
Thinking back to feeling the first kick and listening to the heartbeat to this little miracle was the single best thing in my life.
Being excited, scared and nervous at the same time.. an 14 months later I have this little giggling man climbing on everything who runs at you at full speed to give you a hug.
Never can you feel such love and bond with anything other than your children.

My cousin had a baby a month ago, it was her first child and she had a rough pregnancy but now her little girl is here she glowing and loving being a mum.

I know when you were pregnant with Nemo you said you weren't going to, so it's very special to us that you would share them later ^_^;.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family and little Nemo. Actually, there is a movie called "Little Nemo," look for it if you've never seen it, I watched it as a kid and loved it. Perhaps Nemo will enjoy it in a few years :).

ReplyDeletei don't know in which exactly part of your body you were full of liquid cuz i can't see it:) You didn't gain much weight. I really like the top you wear on first two photos. And just love the dress, that color suits you perfectly also it's in good size not too tight nor loose.

Océane: Hi! I got preclampsia which makes the whole body swollen so that is why I look like that;=) Take care!
ReplyDeleteLaetitianne: Hi! I wanted to give birth naturally since my delivery with Seth ended in an emergency cesarean section, so they tried to start the delivery with a technique called the balloon technique. Had that for a whole day with lot of pain and contractions but didnt get it started enough, so the next thing was to put a gel to start it. Also tried that for one day and actually had labour aches and contractions the whole time like a natural delivery but as with Seth, my contractions are just "fake" and just painful without doing anything. I just open 4 cm and then its a stop;=( So they said I cant deliver naturally and we did a planned c-section this time which went really well;=) If I will have one more child I will get a planned c-section from the start cause they now know that I cant deliver naturally. But I have tried both times so I have felt it and that makes it easier to accept this. Take care;=)

You deliver love everywhere: here in the blog, whenever you sing, when you cook, when you give birth to children. I also do hope you will have lots more children!
ReplyDeleteI also believe you have been rewarded in a way, with your 2nd pregnancy, after that moment of trouble in the end of 2008 NW tour. Your prayers and hidden wishes were welcomed;=),you had faith.
I remember you wrote in your blog about dreams and things that can happen if you strive to accomplish them;=) You were really happy, with candles and angels sourrounding you... now I suppose happyness was actually due to Nemo which were growing inside of you!
So, Anette, as you say:
