So today Nemo got those vaccine shots we didnt take last week due to him not feeling super and the nurse wanted to wait.
He got two shots, one in each leg and after that he´s been so sad, crying and just not in a good mood. He normally never screams with full voice but today he´s been doing that a lot. Poor little one. Now he´s just finally been able to fall asleep.
The vaccine he got today was for: polio, pneumoccal, dipthteria, tetanus, pertussis and hemophilus influenzae. Next vaccine shot is when he is 5 months old so now he´ll be "safe" for 2 months;=)
It´s not easy to be a little baby sometimes...

Aw poor baby. Sing Meadows of Heaven for him. I always play it on my iPhone for crying babies at work. Babies love Nightwish. The instrumental DPP CD and the songs with the vocals like Meadows of Heaven, For the Heart I Once Had, and Amaranth work almost like a drug. But Meadows of Heaven is magic. The other nurses I work with are always amazed.

ReplyDeleteOh so poor little Nemo !! I understand him, the vaccine hurts like hell when we are a baby ! =) I didn't support to see my little brother crying when he had the vaccines.
It must be difficult for a mother too, even if you know it's for his well-being =)
Either way, i don't know anybody who not care about a baby's crying =)
Hope everything's gonna be ok for him in the coming days because of the vaccine =)
It's raining today and it's very boring you know. I went to university this morning for my studies, then in the afternoon i went at my driving lesson, soon i will be able to drive a car !! I'm so excited !! =D
And now, it's time to relax ! So good =)

ReplyDeleteI am sorry about little Nemo not feeling good after receiving those shots. Just comfort him the best way that you can and keep him warm from the cold and he'll be fine. In my opinion, I don't favour any of these so called flu shots for children but they seem to need them for protection It's just a scary thing though. Please take care of yourselves and stay healthy. Wishing the best as always.....
