Answers...

Ok, some more answers to your questions:

How did the cats react on the little one?
- Well, Gremlins, my 12-year old cat were ill even before we got Nemo and when we came home she was so bad that I took the hard decision to let her go. So she is no longer here and that is of course so painful;=(
Stjärnan and Busan, who were just 1 year old got so jealous of Nemo. Stjärnan got more restless and didnt feel so good here so we took her out to my mum and she has now lived there for many weeks and is so happy. She has my mums birma Signe as company and she can go out in a little "cat yard" they have built so great for her. Everytime I visit she is happy and I feel good since we still can love and cuddle with her even if she doesnt live here anymore.

Busan still lives here and she have had big difficulties with understanding that Nemo isnt a toy. She bit him once cause she was jealous but I do think she is getting more and more like a "mum" to him and I am sure she will learn along the way. She is the kindest cat and always so kind to Seth and us. Let´s hope Nemo and she will get along too;=)

Where was your favourite place to visit during the DPP tour?
-
I really loved Japan! It was so nice and very different from my country. And I love japanese food so that was of course a big plus;=) Also seeing all the different states in America was really cool. And I must say that walking the Chinese wall was the biggest thing I have ever done and I just wish it would had been warmer and not -14 degrees...soooo cold!

Do you think that touring will be hard for you for the next album with little Nemo around?

- Well, I hope not but of course I really need to make other arrangements this time to be able to take him with me. So I am sure it may be a bit harder but at the same time I can take him with me, which I cant with Seth and that is harder cause I really miss him so much when I am away. But he is a big boy and has school so it´s harder to bring him along. Me and Tuomas have talked about these things and we have said we will make things work for me and I know it will;=)

I was just wondering who your idols were when you was growing up?
-
I really loved a swedish singer called Carola, who were just 16 when she became a big star here. She has inspired me vocally and I still remember when I took my bike to the little store and bought her first cassette (yes, that was the old days - no cd:s then;=). And I stood there in my living room, singing to her songs over and over again. She has been the big idol for me;=)

  2. Oh no, i feel sorry for Gremlins and for you. *HUGS*
Looks like it was a good idea to let Stjärnan with your mother. It seems that Busan had a hard time as well, but is on her way to be very nice with Nemo.
And cassettes? It was already a good way, much better than the 33 rpm. Smaller, lighter, easier to use, and (the best) it didn't skip nor made cracks and pops... Geez,, i start to feel a bit old sometimes.....

  4. Oh great I haven’t checked this in some days, so lots of things to read. I am sorry you had to remove some of your cats because of Nemo, but of course he is much more precious. Although I have a cat but I think I prefer dogs, because cats are so egoistic and are a bit evil… haha
I love Japan too, especially Toyko. Visiting Harajuku was definitely a highlight for me - seeing all the amazing fashion they wear. I recommend it for your next tour if you haven’t already been. Maybe you’ll find some fun stage outfits ;-)

  5. Oo I'd love to visit Japan. I love the food also.
I'm going to hunt for a Japanese restaurant when I come to London in Feb as non where I live!

Great that Tuomas will help you with travel because of Nemo, he's such a nice guy.

Again, thanks for answering the questions, we all love reading them :)

  6. What's the weather like in sweden? italy is sunny today!

We are wondering when will you begin your warm-up and vocal exercises before you record your vocals on march;=)
Are you gonna take singing lessons?
Just browsing some of your performances at YUOUTUBE, they show you improved your tecnique/stage presence a lot;=)
are sure you will provide yourself with an amazing preparation for the new album, as you have learn to know yourself and your voice along the way.
Which kind of tecniques are you gonna to exercise with?
Do you still use Catherine Sadolin method?

    take carexxxxx

  10. I was reading your answers and it sounds like touring is going to be a little more busy with the baby. Here are some words of encouragement...

No matter how busy or crazy it gets remeber that you are one person and you can only do what you can do. Relax and enjoy life because when you look back you will realize that everything worked out. Also, don't be scaried to ask for help from the band or personel they will understand and most likely will be happy to help you out. The last tour had it's ups and downs but you made it through and came out a stronger person... Have a great day.

  12. My dear Anette,
here are some of my questions ;=)

    1. Can you tell me what i should do to live my dream to become a singer ( maybe in a rock/metal band) ?

    2. Next year, my grade and me are going to make an 2hour musical ( dance, act, singing) in the big famous theatre in our city (theatre wolfsburg). Can you please give me some advice against my fear to sing there alone for over 1000 people ?

    3. About the musical: today my teacher told me that I shall sing and learn the scores of my songtexts.but I have never sung with scores. I always read the text and then sang the song! Why should I sing it with scores? can you tell me the reason and how I should handle that?I'm so confused..

    4. Can you please say me your shoe size and your totalsize? I think that very interesting and so I can imagine how you look in the reality ;=)

    5. What are your favourite colours and brands?

6.When and why did you moved to Helsingborg? Can you please give me reasons why people should move to Helsingborg? because someday I wanna move to a swedish city but I dont know in which ;=)

    7. How many sisters and brothers do you have ?
    8. What does your tattoo on your fore arm mean ?

So, sorry for these lots of questions, but I never had the possibility to ask ;=)
    Thank you soooooo much

    Huggies and Love

  13. I'm so sorry about Gremlins :( I don't have any pets but I am a massive cat person.

I don't want to bombard you with questions, but I was wondering about your work with bands other than Nightwish. For example, how different was it working with Brother Firetribe to how it was working with PAIN?
    Best wishes!
    xx

  14. Hello Anette ; )
It's so nice to read about new Nightwish touring plan! I think Nemo will enjoy very much him super mom's work! ; )

Yes, I also think that Japan is a great place. It is such a safe and comfortable country, their technology is awesome and city/services maintenance works very well.
My boyfriend is Japanese, he is a cook and he lives and works here in Italy. In Italy
we have so many troubles in every thing, so, we are planning to go back in Japan when we'll get merry.
Surely I'll wait for Nightwish concerts when I'll go to live in Japan too! ; )

I'm so sorry for your beloved Gremlins.
I have a dog and it is like a sister or a part of me, so I can understand your feelings.
I give you a big hug and support
    kisses

  16. Here is another question for you :)

You mentioned earlier that you liked to read a lot while on tour. So I was wondering what do you like to read? I am really big on fantasy myself.

  17. Hi Anette. :)

Thanks for answering my question! :) (Although I'm pretty sure a lot of others asked it too-the one about who your idols were growing up). I've been curious for quite some time who your idol was growing up.

    I've got yet another question:

I love to sing and hope to be a singer someday, or have some type of musical career. I've been in choir at school for 5 years, and music has been my life for the longest time. However, when it comes to singing by myself in front of people, and doing solo competitions and such, I get incredibly nervous. It's to the point where my voice and body shakes, and I sound awful. I've tried many times to get past these nerves...but it's like every time I try to perform solo, those nerves will return and it will be a disaster. I'm comfortable singing in front of my friends and family, and they've said I'm a good singer, and I'm in one of the top choirs in my school. But obviously I can't perform alone in front of others if my nerves get to me that much. Have you ever had any issues like this? How did you get past those nerves? I need your words of advice! I want to be as good of a singer as you. My dream is to be able to perform for people with no nerves whatsoever, and have a voice as great as yours, because singing is my passion.

I hope you'll answer my question, but if not, it's okay. I know you get a lot of questions.

    Best wishes,

    Lauren

  19. Loved your answers to the questions! :D
I'm so sorry to hear about your cat Gremlins. It really sucks to put an animal down but if they're suffering, it is the best choice.
We had to put our one cat, Bandit, down last New Years (he was 22 years old). He was super skinny but eating all the time. After that, his son Bear went. He was 20-21 years old. It kills me to lose animals more than losing people.
    RIP to Gremlins! :)

  21. Hi Anette! I see you answer a lot of questions and I don't know where to send questions, I guess I've missed something... anyway, I send my question here.

It's about fur trade. You may have heard that it's (again) a big discussion about fur trade and fur production here in Norway, after new shocking pictures from some fur farms. So I'd like to ask what's your opinion and if you use clothes with real fur or not (and now I'm talking about fur from the animals on fur farms, not wild animals). You are interested in clothes and fashion, that's why I ask you. :)

I'm against such fur industry but I'm NOT against people who don't agree with me, so I'm just curious. Of course I wish they could stop having animals in small cages just because of fur business, but it's still a legal industry in many countries so I don't judge anyone who buys a fur coat...
