Moving or not?

So, we are thinking of moving. We feel that a house is needed now when we have Nemo. Living in a penthouse with 4 stairs and no elevator tears on my back. So we have found a house and might put an offer this week. The house are not what I want to live in for the rest of my life but it´s good for us right now.

The worst thing is that I am such a worrier and always have difficulties making up my mind about big things like this. So all night I have been lying tossing and thinking pro´s and con´s.

I am sure I will have many more of those nights before I have actually made the decision and moved.

Anyone else that also have this "worrying" thing? Always have problems taking BIG decisions?
Tell me;=)

  1. Hej Anette! Hur mår du?
Well, we're in the same situation! My family is planning to move too! I don't want to leave the house where I have been living since I was born!
But, you know, since my grand-mother died, my family wanted to change house, so in March we will move to a town near Milan (now I'm near Como).. It's better, because I study in Milan, so I'm trying to think of the most advantageous thing of the movement!
    Have a nice sunday!

  2. I feel sorry for you. *HUGS* I tend to worry A LOT when it's time to big decisions... But i have to say thatwhen i read you it seems that you have VERY GOOD reasons to move in a house. Imagine that Nemo will become heavier and that you have 4 stairs without elevators to climb. This only would be a good reason to move on... There's cons of course, but it seems there's more pros for the move.
    Big hugs to you

  3. Hi Anette!

Yes, I have problems also for me to decide.
And determine for such large, it is particularly difficult.
But they will choose all right. ^.-
As I said, I am from Germany, so sorry for my bad english...
Well, good luck in their decision! they choose correctly, then I'm sure. ^^

otherwise, they have a nice day! :)

  4. Hey Nettie,
as I always say ´If I wanna do something very much I have to do it now. It´ll be better to know I did mistake which I can repair than thinking about WHAT IF for the rest of my life´
And my life has learned me to believe in myself))

    Hope you´ll decide well,

  5. I know exactly what you mean!
I just bought myself a computer. But then I keep thinking: Is this the best computer for this price? Am I going to be happy with this one? What if there's another computer with better screen, longer life and more things like that. I can't make decisions at all.
But sometimes you just have to think: And nów I do it.
Good luck with making the decision!

  6. hi:)

From my point of view it's ridiculous to move to house you won't feel comfortable. Also it's kind of waste of money cuz you will probably move later on and pay again. Why just not to chose house you love, enjoy leaving in and stay there to the rest of your live?:)

  7. Hi Anette

Yes I also am a big worrier, I have a big decision to make but I am torn. I would loose sleep over it but up till 3-4am most nights working on some exciting things on Tuomas' site, so when I do go to bed I am asleep in seconds.

Just think what is best for Nemo regarding the house. But if it was me from what you said about "The house are not what I want to live in for the rest of my life but it´s good for us right now," I would be still looking around for a house that I would want to live in the rest of my life and not just settling on one that will "do". Especially as you put so much money into these things, we don't want it to be a waste. But that's just me.

I hope you work things out quickly. Has Nemo started crawling yet? I keep forgetting how old he is hehe. Ethan said "Hiya" today for the first time which was so cute.

Until now I didn't have to take lots of big decisions. Only a few, like deciding if I would do a second study or if I would start to work. Normally I would have started to work more then a year ago. But then suddenly (really suddenly!), I got this feeling that it would be better to study some more. That night I went to sleep with the idea that I didn't know what to do. The next day I woke up and said to myself: Yes, I'm going to study this! So, it was like I didn't need to think about it, or that I thought about it in my sleep. I don't know, I just feel I really didn't think much about it, I just knew that I had to do this. And yes, I'm very glad I'm doing this :-)
And that night, I really slept well. So I guess I don't worry that much about big decisions. I also like a change now and then.

    Greetings from the rainy Belgium

  9. Oh Anette..certainly you are made for changes! As you say moving is one of the bigges changes you might take. If you feel fine and estabilished with your dear ones, you dont have to fear when its time to move. But, i still feel you love your apartment a lot (and the site near the ocean/forest)and if 4 stairs is the only problem, i think you and johan will manage to overcome it. You never know what you'll find and they say there's no better place than home. I mean you dont have to feel obliged because of the elevator. There are many couples living like this. Comfort plans are sometimes connected with amount of unuseful stress and you should now be able to understand your inner self, but as you always say:take it easy!!! Good luck,Poochie

  10. Hi Anette, don't worry for moving, me and my family did it 4 times and the last was for the death of my grand mother, my gran father could't stay alone at home anymore. So we made this choice. You have to decide that is best for you. I have to take a big decision for operation from view (i hope it's a right word) and i'm little scared. In febrary i have a metting with an oculist that he will make me an examination. He is the same person that will make me an operation.

Maybe i will make it becuase i don't want to wear glasses and contact lens amymore. Without them i see nothing.

Let know us about your decision!

    Big hugs

  11. Hi Anette!

The problem for me isn't that I can't make a decision in one year but that I make my decisions too early, sometimes immediately, without thinking. It had made me too many problems in my life but because I'm impatient I can't wait.
So, don't worry about thinking a lot because it will be only good for you and all of you! Buying a house it's a big step in a life so do not hurry! :)

    Hugs,

  12. Hi Anette,
yes,for me it is sometimes difficult to take big decisions..
I think in yur case with the kids is really important that the neighbours and the owners are friendly to the children..and for sure there should never be mold!!! In the near of your house should be a school for Seth and a Kindergarten for Nemo. And, the most important thing: the neighbours.. in October we moved to another flat in a house full of old people.. and now we have such big problems ith them.. when we hear music they call the police, when we build up some new furniture they beat against our door.. its so nerving..
so, be carefull about what you want and be infromed about everything !!!
    Will you stay in Helsingborg?
Hope you'll take a good choice which all of you want/like. ;=)

  13. Hey Anette :)

I'm not a worrier but my mum is.. She always thinks a lot and can't sleep when se has to make some big desicion. The same thing was when I decided to go to medical school, she was thinkih how will I do this, will they even accept me (they did :)) will it be too difficult to me etc. But now she's ok with that ^^

I wanted to say to you that I live in house. It's bigger, nicer, cheaper then a flat. You have your own privaci etc.. I can't imagine myself in a flat for some long time. I prefer houses. But I'm sure you'll make a good desicion for yourself. :)

have a nice day and take care!

  14. Hi Anette,

Don’t worry, it’s natural to feel anxious about making a big decision - we all do! It doesn’t sound like fun having all those stairs if it’s straining your back with the little one, but you’re the best judge in this situation. It will feel good once you’ve made your choice :-)

    Hugs!

  15. most of the time for me, i think about the pro's and con's of the decision, then i go with my instinct and see which place i feel more comfortably in. Later on, if my instinct was the wrong choice, i would try to fix it as best as i can.

Good Luck with your decision :)

  16. Hi Anette !

I think it's a very good idea to move on now that a new child is arrived in your life =)
But this decision have to be very thought about, this must be something that all of your family really need because you know that you will spend a lot of money for it =)
You have to really like this new house, and your family have to feel the same because you will pass a lot of time in.

It's a big decision, which will change your life a bit. At the begining, there will be a time adjustment (don't know if the translation is correct) but if you think it really worth it, you have to do it =)
But when i read that you say that "The house are not what I want to live in for the rest of my life but it´s good for us right now", i'm not sure that you have to move.
This is MY opinion but this new house must really be liked by you, otherwise i really feel that you will not feel comfortable in and i really want for you the best. The best is not especially the biggest house which paid a million euro because it's a thing that a lot of people think; no, the best is a house where you feel really good, where you can imagine you and your sweet family growing up during some years in the best conditions. Only you know these best conditions =)

I don't want that my answer drives you crazy about this big decision you have to make, i really want for you to do the good decision =) And despite of all of our answers, only you know the good decision.

I wish for you the best Anette and for all of your sweet family too =)
Talk a lot with Johan and you will decide after =)
I wish you a good day with all of my support =)

    Lots of hugs !

  18. Hey Anette,
taking decisions it's always hard. As for me, the hardest decision I've ever taken in my whole life was saying goodbye to my former friends. Our friendship was sinking and I felt so sick and nervous when spending my time with them, so one day I woke up and told them: we can't be friends anymore. I think it's way easier to say goodbye to a lover than to a long-time friend. Have you ever faced this pain?
Right now I'm facing another hard decision, and it's about moving too: I don't want to live in Sicily anymore, I hate this island by the bottom of my heart. Still, I have to stay here until I get my degree. After that I'm moving to Florence and hopefully to somewhere in Scandinavia in some years. I'll have to face loneliness and feeling the squeeze, maybe I'll be homesick sometimes, but I have to go... I cannot stay where I don't belong.
Be brave and take your choice!
    A big hug

  19. Hope this helps... Like I have said before everything always works out one way or another. I am in a different situation but it is kind of the same... As you know the house market in the states is real bad. I have house in a nice area but I can't sell it for what it is worth I would have to take a big lose. I need a 4 bedroom house and they are going cheap but again my house will not sell. I used to worry about this all the time but I realize there is nothing I can do about it. Johan and you are the only ones that can make this desicion which I am sure will be the right one, take a breath and relax and enjoy.

  21. hello dear!

yep, I'm also a great worrier, I always think about even little things for weeks, that drives me mad. My latest "should I do it or not" was about buying a new ipod touch, and I couldn't even sleep at night thinking about it all over.. Ofc this is quite a small issue comparing to yours, but it's an attitude we're talking about :)

Regarding your moving in and out. Well, for sure, now you have a bigger family and need a lot of space for your sons and yourself and Johan (remember, you told us you do not have enought space for all your clothes, that is also a "pro" for a new house ;)). Since Nemo is small and you walk with him in a pram etc, you need an elevator to do it and so on. Another "pro" for buying a house is that, perhaps, both boys will feel themselves better each one having his own room, having a lot of space to play and run and so on, maybe even having a yard of their own to play games, sports and etc. The only "contra" I see is that the house you found is not the one you dream about... So there's some financial issue, as I see it. But, as lots of people here already said, maybe it's better to buy the house you'll feel more comfortable living in and will stay there for a long time and live happily, even it's more expensive and so on, rather than buyig the one you feel is just ok for the moment and will have to change in a couple of years and will again feel all those worries and weight all the pluses and minuses.. You can always ask for a loan in a bank or arrange a mortgage, like Marco did recently.

All in all, I suggest you to look through the house offers a bit more and find at least smth in between the "ok variant" and the "big dream variant", you'll surely find smth a lot more convinient and comfortable for the family.
So, I "vote" for moving in a new house. I think the best thing for you to do now is to calm down and do not hurry with a desicion about the house. That's the biggest point.

    Good lucj with a decision,
    Hugs

  22. Hey Anette!

Well, you're not the only one. I think I'm the biggest worrier in the world. I'm worried about everything, especially with big decisions.

I think moving house with two children is a good idea. You have to think about your own health, and offcourse of the rest of your family!
Good luck with your decision, and I know it'll be the right one :-).
A decision must be made with the heart though (in my opinion), the mind can pull trics on you ;-).

  23. Hey Anette!

Oh, I'm sorry. That is a big decision.
But you definitely should do a pros
and cons list. Think about how it will effect
you and your family, it'll probably turn out
to be a good thing to do;=)

Yes, I am one of those people who has to
take a long time to make a BIG decision.
    Here's something:

I've been really good friends with this girl,
we'll call her "Julie", since 8th grade.
Well, now we're in 12th grade and it's our
last year of school and then we're
graduating. Over the years Julie and I have
argued of course, but we've always
managed to be close, even though I've moved
a couple times. Well, now I live back in
    my old town, the same town as Julie;
Julie drives to school, but I don't yet,
so I ride with her everyday.
On Friday, she randomly decided to not pick
me up and not tell me she wasn't getting me.
So, I missed school because by the time
I found out she was ditching me,
it was too late for me to even try getting
to school on my own. When at school,
Julie told all of my friends who asked where
I was, that I called her and told her I
    didn't need a ride...she lied to them.
This is NOT the first time she's done
this to me. She does it a lot and she usually
treats me pretty badly as a friend-
she lies to me and keeps secrets that
I find out from other people. "Julie" is also
the girl who made me and my other friend
who was with us, leave that Nightwish
concert early; back on your US tour in
    May 2009, in Kentucky.

I think that I've given enough chances to
her to prove to me that she still
wants to be friends, when it's obvious by
how she treats me, that she doesn't.
So, I don't know if I should keep trying
to be nice to her- when that isn't working-
or if I should just lose a "friend"...
I'm thinking that I should just lose her
as a friend. Because I've tried and everytime
I'm the only one hurt and upset,
when she doesn't really show any emotion
at all. She never cares if I'm upset about
    something or mad at her.
My mum and step-dad are divorcing and
she doesn't think I have the right to
be upset about that. She says that they're
    divorcing won't effect me,
    when it obviously will.

Anyway, any advice you have is great.

    Hugs and love, Katie T.

  24. Hi Anette,

I have some problems to take big decision about my future... I don't know what I will do in some months, if I have to go in an other side of France or stay with my family, to work with old people or with children...

So I know what you mean when you said that you have had problems to sleep well ;-)

Of course, it's important to have a nice place to live with 2 children, and to have a house it's a good project ! But maybe you can wait and find an other beautiful house in some weeks if you don't feel the house like you are waiting for ? Follow your instinct ;-) or built YOUR home !

    Hugs.

  25. Hey Anette :)

I would love to move somewhere else, if you ask me ;)

Well, you need to take a good look on new house and area. It would be good if school is near, shop, maybe a doctor. So, things that are useful.
Decide with Johan, and also ask Seth. He also needs to feel happy there at new house, place. I don't know if you're moving to another city or somewhere else in the city, but I say again that you take a good look.

I wish you to find best decision.

  26. Hello, Anette. I can understand your difficulty in taking a decision in this case. I assume it's not too easy to move out, change the surroundings and the atmosphere and the things you're used to, especially when you have such a little child. Taking out the furniture to the other house, placing it properly, all the tiny things that must be worked on and changed in a new house etc.

On the other hand, I assume it would be best for Nemo to move in another house before he "grows up" and is harder for him to get used to a new space and different placings and everything. I think the only thing you can do is keep thinking about it and discuss it thoroughly with Johan, ask Seth what HE would feel like as well, and then take the decision.
    Good luck :)

  27. Oh, I even have a hard time making small decions xD But yeah, I'm only 16 so it's not a big deal yet.

I remember having quite a hard time when we moved last time, away from the busy city and all my friends to a little 500 people village where we didn't know anything, and where we don't even have a store. But I love it there now, great friends and stuff is cool :)

    Good luck!

  28. Wow - a big decision! Take your time and go with your heart - the best way I find is believe it or not to toss a coin... I always think deep down everyone knows what they want therefore if you toss it and you see what it has landed on and you want to toss it again... then doesn't that tell you something... if it lands and you are ok with that and have no desire to toss it again - then that also tells you something ;)

I'm ok with decision making - that isn't a problem but as for worrying - I am the world's worst!! I am the Fillyjonk re-incarnated!!!

  31. Hi Anette!

Well... Its always hard for me to take desitions, even small and barely insignifant ones because I always try to take the right choise as I hate to commit mistakes.

If I can suggest a thing about moving... shouldn't be better to look for the house you would really like to live in for a long time? (it would be less expensive, no risk of remorse or doubs, and you'll be really happy since the moment you put a step in)

I moved last year and I still can't get used, I didn't move far from where I used to live but I still miss my old room and everything =( in fact I didn't want to move but my mom's health forced us to do so, though she's really happy about it.
I know I shouldn't complain because health always goes first...

so take all the time you need until you're 100% sure about it. =)

    Take care all of you!!

  32. Oh yeah, I know how hard it is.
I really love my house, and it's very difficult just to imagine leaving it.
I've had to move a few times. I didn't like the house at first, but then you learn you're there all day, you share good moments with the ones you love and that makes you love your house.

I will have my last year here in germany and then i move to sweden to live with my boyfriend. That is a quiet big step for me...framförallt min svenska är skit so far hahaha well, think the language will come when i live there. Here in school i just learn every second week for 2,5 hours...and there they teach rikssvenska and i have to deal with that my boyfriend speaks skånska ( so do you right ? haha ) But besides that i am 100% sure that i want to take that step.

I bet your hurting back will tell you pretty soon to move ;-)

wow, sounds you're really in thinking troubles. but you are not alone with this problem. my mum is worried, because of moving in june.

it's a bit complicated to tell, but i try:
we are a patchwork family, so my dad has a flat and my mum. dad is living with my sisters and mum in her's and i'm living in dad's, because it's the shorter way to university.

now i'm moving into a smaller flat, so my family can give up mum's and move into dad's. so she has terrible worries about the whole thing and it's so much to organise, because both have full furniture and she has no idea what to do with them, etc. and i can't take much with me, because my flat is really small. it's gonna be an exciting year for us.

hope you'll find the best way for you and your family.

  36. Hi Anette!

I think that if you REALLY want to move, and you have good reasons to do so, then you should go for it. However, you said "the house is not where I want to live for the rest of my life, but it will do for now." So does that mean there are some issues with the house...? If you're not fully comfortable with moving into that particular house, then maybe keep looking until you find one that's perfect for you and your family. Also it depends on what the con's are. Are they major things, or just a couple small issues that can be taken care of?

Not sure if I helped much, but I tried. I'm the same way with making big decisions...it's usually hard for me to do and I'm always worried about if I'm making the right choice. So I know how you feel.

Just make the decision you feel is best, and think about it as much as you need. Good luck! :)

    Best wishes,

  37. Hello Anette,

It has been a long time since my last post and have discovered you have welcomed a new son into the world.

    Congratulations to the lucky parents.

Having a family sometimes inspires me to make my decisions for me. More so what's best for all of us. Moving is always dreadful in my book. And I have moved so many times from SA to UK to Canada and soon back to UK, decisions come easily now. I was born a risk taker and come from nothing, into something and right back into nothing. It is then I know I will come back to something. My mum always says life is an adventure and never to hold back.

I worry too and these decisions do not come lightly but I think if this something you can do financially and like the new house... live on into the next step of your adventure. Life is exciting!

    Good luck and be strong.

  38. Hi Anette =)

I always have trouble making up my mind, not just in big decisions. My family have moved a LOT. I'm living in my 8th house and I'm not even 16. But I don't mind, "omväxling förnöjer" =). Still I think that it's time to move again, the last 4 years dad has lived in a small flat (en tvåa). I've wanted to move almost since we moved in. To make a long story short; we are 3 persons and a dog, I share room with my brother, I can't get enough privacy.

It can be really hard to move away from a house or neighbourhood you're attached to but it often works out fine =) If the issues aren't too big, which they don't seem to be since you're considering putting an offer, I'm quite sure you'll like it. As you said, you don't have to live there for the rest of your lives =)

  39. Hey Anette! Interesting news about the new maybe-home. I hope that, whatever you choose, it works out for the best. But why not look for a place that could be your family home in the long term? I don't know what the property market is like in Sweden at the moment, but in Ireland there's the chance for lots of good bargains (at last).

Whether you go for a temporary or permanent place, anyway, you will get the chance to decorate a bit. That's always fun! :-D

In completely unrelated matters, I came across this excellent Slaying the Dreamer cover. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP0tSH31cTk The singer has a voice different to yours and to Tarja's, but her approach to the first chorus might help you with this song. (It has a few high notes that cause problems if one's voice isn't in complete health, which I know yours wasn't always during the DPP tours. But one can always drop down a bit to use a different harmonic line. Actually, I have wondered why you didn't do this with Slaying, as you do it on some other songs live and it sounds grand!)

  40. hi Anette... well Ive been concern lately too... well long story short, I'm from Chile, but Ive been living in Canada for a 1 year and half under a work permit, that will expire on July next year. The thing that I love it here and I don't want to move back.. so my work place will try to sponsor me to stay but it is not a 100% that is going to work well.. so I'm concern about that. Actually I cant sleep well... i have nightmares almost every night about. I'm trying to be very positive about it. But sometimes its hard... I don't wanna leave Canada.
Well wish you the best with the decision!
    Hugs,
    Maria Paz

  41. Good morning, Anette:)
Sorry, I can't be any help with the decision making but I can offer my sympathy for what must be a tough decision to make.
I'm sure you'll make the right choice to suit you and your family's needs:)

As far as troublesome decisions with much worry that I've had to make...well my breakup with the mother of my two daughters a little more than a decade ago....I really can't go into any kind of detail about it soooo I'll stop here. Maybe you know what that's like or maybe not.

It's a super nice video they are what you say they are..great alone with different styles of vocalizing and combined just as great...some kind of duet for sure!

Have the best possible day, and enjoy (that's with worries in mind)
    lots of love,
    Gary

  42. Anette,

It may be a big decision but you know what's best for your family. As long as you Johan agree with each other about what's best, just do what you feel is right!
I do get very stressed over big decisions too so you're not the only one! :)

    Take care,

  43. My family passed throught it once. We had to move too when my lil sister was born... The apartment we lived was too small for a family of 5 people to live, so we decided to move. You know what? I think you should do the same... It's a very important decision, but if you feel that you need a house that is easier to live with little Nemo, go for it! Think of what it's better for you and your family and move on! I'm sure you'll reach the right decision =) and, at least for my family, moving was the best thing we did ever. Now we have a huge house, big enough for a 5-member family and 3 dogs! Also we have space for 3 cars, a garden and much more... So, I think that, if you feel like moving, it's because the time for it has come... And actually moving will be the right decision for you and your family =)

  44. Hey Anette :)
I do understand you: I've always been an overthinker, and that makes making a decision almost impossible for me, especially when it comes to big things like houses.
As a matter of fact, I have just moved, but it took me almost six monhts to make up my mind, because it's a life-changing decision.
When it comes to your situation, the choice might be a little bit easier to take because you're saying you're not going to stay there for the rest of your life, so maybe you don't need to focus that much on the down-sides or the things you don't like. :) After all it's just for some years. Also, I've noticed that many of the down-sides you can see about a house are just things you have't tried yet, and you might come to like. To me, for instance, it was the neighboorhood I didn't like, because it was too close to the city centre. But I've gotten used to it, and it's very confortable to have all the services I need within 5 minutes walking distance. :)
So the only advice I can give you is: don't overthink it, if you like it "overall" you don't need to point out all the little details, especially if you're not planning to stay there forever :)
Take care, have a greet week. :)

  45. Good morning!

I'm one of those who worry about decisions a big time, even the small ones.
I also write down pros and cons but usually can't find the final answer that way. In the end it's about intuituion and instincts for me.

Intuition is a state where our brain can't recall any more information to the process of thinking and you have this feeling you just KNOW something, without being able to "touch it".

So I suggest that if you can't answer with pros and cons only, then trust what you feel. If you don't feel like this is what you want then keep on searching - there will be other houses and one of them might be the right one for you.

  46. lol I'm actually in a bit of a crisis myself. For the past three years, I've been working as a animal caretaker at a Bording Kennel for dogs and cats. But unfortunatly the kennel closed down on Halloween after almost 41 years of business, which is a bit unherd of. The owners of the kennel went into full retirement. I'm still somewhat working there under the table to take down the fencing and get the stuff out of the building. But I'm still practically jobless. I've tried going to a couple kennels around town to see if they were hiring, but so far no luck, even though they were rather intrested of my work experience. I'm trying to look at all my options of what to do with the next chapter of my life. I would like to go to college and get a degree in business as well as eventually moving out of Massachusetts.

So far I'm still trying to go to other kennels. But if that doesn't work out, a friend of mine could offer me a night shift job at a McDonalds. I don't mind working at night, but working at a fast food joint isn't something I'll be to thrilled of. My mother also offered me to live with her in San Diego, but yet again I need money to get there not to mention that it's on the other side of the U.S. I've also been thinking of filing for unemployment, but I was told that I would be lucky if I even got 50% of my pay on my last job, which isn't exactly much.

So I'm having alot of thoughts in my head now at the moment. But whatever I choose, I'm sure it'll be the right decision. And I have to make a desicion soon. My savings is getting low. Not to mention that I've been so use to working every day, that now I'm currently having pains going through my back and knees due to not working all of a sudden. Which I'm a bit worried since I have family members that have problems with their backs and joints too.

  47. It's normal to worry about such things, but as much you think, as more difficult it seems! So just make it. And if you don't like it, you could move again anytime:) Good luck with moving!

  48. I think quite many people have this problem concerning decisions. I have it. And it doesn't matter if the problem is small or big, I still have equally hard to make a decision.

For my point of view, it might be better if you would buy the house for Nemo's sake. I can't imagine that I would have spent my childhood in a penthouse where there wasn't a proper yard for me to play :)
On the other hand, if the house is not perfect, perhaps you'll find a better house within two months? So could it be better to wait?
On the other hand if the house is not perfect, maybe you could do there a little bit changes if possible?

I really understand you that it is hard to decide :D

  49. Moving can be tough, But if you see this place as one where your family can live and be happy, It's the memories that matter. I'm sure you'll find a place you all love. good luck!

  50. Hey darling;)
Sure there are lots of things worth being thought over and over again, especially when it comes to such a serious thing like changing a place. I'm an october-born Libra so decisions always give me creeps. If I have to choose between blue and grey dress I'll be standing in front of them for hours until something makes me choose one or leave them both (what I constantly do not to bother my brain). Now it's taken a month or so until I decided that I want a new MacBook Air and not MacBook Pro. Horrible thing, I say)))
But when it's about something serious... The decision comes fast and I'm sure in it, always. 'Cause it's better to do than to feel sorry that you haven't. And buying a new house is a really important thing. Perhaps you should think a bit longer and finally find your real dream house? Maybe it's waiting for you just on the other site?

  51. Hi Annette,
My advice regarding the house would be: You should feel in yourself that this place is where you want to live otherwise, forget it and keep looking.
If you don't get it, it was not meant to happen.
To "over worry" about it shows that you are a sensitive person.
I have been a worrier all my life; I am always looking for ways to improve this hypersensitivity.
I don't know if you have heard of an interesting technique called EFT (Emotionnal Freedom Technique). It deals with unwanted emotions. Very simply put, you tap on acupuncture points while you think of a particular unwanted emotion. The strong emotionnal response is removed.
    It works for me.
I need to practice but I get lazy...
Watch the use of EFT on traumatized war veterans, it is incredible (war sucks...):http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6887426238803490578#
Good luck with your house hunting.
Being sensitive (25% of the population) means also that you have more empathy to people than most so this is not all bad!
But yes it will make changes and decisions harder, I know all too well!
    Cheers

  53. Good evening Anette,

i was thing about one thing that i've done today for my job. In Italy we had to pay (thankfully we no have to do it anymore) ICI, that is the rate of payment of the house ( i don't know the right word but i hope you undestand). In Sweden do you use to pay it? It's just for curiosity. :)
