Silent night

It´s oh so quiet...schhh...schhh.... it´s oh so still...

Well, Björks song is suitable right now, cause both my little children are sleeping so quietly. One with Liverpool sheets around him and the other with Moomin sheets around him. One in his own bed and the other one in our bed. That´s the differences between 9 year old and soon to be 4 months;=)

So now when it´s quiet I will attend to record some melody for a new song I made today when I took a bath in the morning. It´s something about me and getting song ideas, but it happens most of the time in the bathtub. And this morning one more came to me. A song that I hope I can get to sound good enough to maybe be on my album. We´ll see;=)

While I do that, you can enjoy Björk and her great song;=)

    I guess when you are il relax you have a time to think about your solo album and to have an inspiration for the songs.

    It's nice to hear you have some time and silence for yourself.
    Hehe, I often make a lyrics while taking a shower so can't write it and then I don't remember what I made.. :p
    It's finally snowy here! Hip hip horray! There's only one problem - I have a cold and can't go out, grrr.. But however I'm in good mood today, don't know why :D
    Now I'm gonna finish my drawing. It's a Korpiklaani's Tervaskanto cover. Doesn't look very good but.. I just have to draw something :D

    Awww! They sound so sweet! But now you have some free time, at least for the time that they're asleep:)
    I never knew that you come up with your own songs! Guess you learn something new everyday :)
    Do you have any news about your album? I can't wait for it! Is it going to be rock/metal or more relaxed/pop? Or a mix of both?

    I really like the song! Though I was expecting it to be calmer.. hehe, was I surprised (good surprised though) :)

    Talking about songs that reminds me a Within Temptation song "Forgiven" I was listen to it yesterday and I couldn't help but thinking "Oh Anette would it sing that song beautifully" ;)

    Mu goodness whats your secret for getting the little one to sleep. All of a sudden mine wont sleep without hugging into me. Its sweet but tiring.

    And yes, shower time is always good inspiration even for me except I don't have how to put my ideas out... And not only shower but also a-hem... while in the toilet, some ideas may come up too. I guess the bathroom privacy in general is very inspirational XD

    I use to play that song sometimes just to see how my dog reacts. ;D She goes around speakers and listens very carefully.

    Good luck with your "shower song". :)) When I wrote a little bit more, I often got my ideas while I was taking a shower, vacuuming or cutting lawn!!

    A nice peaceful night for you finally!

    Things always randomly come to me while I'm in the shower or the bath, I think its because you can just relax and shut the world out for a while and have a bit of 'me' time.
