Dreams

Good morning;=)

Hope you all slept really good! I actually had so bad dreams and it made me sleep a bit restless. Also Nemo had a hard night. He has gotten a cold and it makes him a bit tight in the throat and his nose is rinny. He also seemed to have bad dreams cause he cried in his sleep for a very long time and I tried to comfort him but he was in a deep sleep. Poor little one;=(

I dreamt many things but one was that me and my mum talked about my grandmothers. And I could see their faces before me, like they would had been there, so when I woke up I almost thought they were here. But then I realized they still were gone and it made me so extremely sad...

Then I lied there and started to think about death and that I kinda feel more vulnerable now after my fall. That things can go so fast and from one second to another we can be gone. Of course I know this already but it´s something I dont think about so often. I still feel I am so young and strong and I am in my mind, but still time goes and I do get to be 40 now. Its so weird to understand that I have walked this earth for 40 years now and still I feel like I just started my life. My mum said she feel the same and I guess that is the thing: no matter how old you are, it still feels like you just came here.

I said to Johan when watching the news yesterday morning that the world sure look like a horrible place when watching the news. Wars, disasters, killings, rapes.... you name it.... and I said; when I die I sure hope the "other world" if there is one, will be more peaceful. Filled with love and harmony.

Now I sound like really depressed today, but no;=) I just wanted to share my thoughts from my night and sometimes I do believe its good to recognize that life is precious and we need to treasure what we have and the ones we love while we are here and they are here. And be careful so we dont get into accidents because we arent careful. I am to fast always and that was why I fell. I also tend to get to much into my feelings and that causes me to stress and not think before doing things and that also is something I need to learn not to do;=)

Life is about learning and my lesson after the fall is: watch where I go. Look down and not straight forward. Wear non-slippery socks. And take it easy, dont rush!

;=) Great lessons to be taught, dont you think?;=)

Enjoy the day!

  1. I don't know why, but for the last 5 years I keep on seeing the same dream on and on. I see a tsunami wave coming towards me and then there is a man there that says : "Do as I say, don't let go my hand and you will live". When the tsunami is about to hit us he says "I am here" and sometimes I think I can almost feel the warmth of his hand. Then the dream ends....I don't know what a dream like that is supposed to mean. :/
Well, the greatest lesson of my life my mother gave it to me! She got sick when she was 27 and now that she is 51, she takes 32 pills a day to live. What I learned from this is 1) thank God you have your health, 2) no matter what life brings or how hard it hits you, fight back with courage and 3) don't take people around you for granted. Tell them you love them every chance you get! Cause one minute they are there but....

  3. Hi Anette!

Here in Portugal we say that this life is two days and the carnival are three, so we must live it up and savor every moment because life is too short and when we notice, the years passed and we didn't do anything we wanted.
As in the film Dead Poets Society "Carpe Diem"

  4. Good morning Anette,
i'm sorry for Nemo that he doesn't feel well. I never dreamt my grand-mother or maybe i don't remember. I have 3 of them, my gran-mothers died 7 years ago. I'm lucky to still have 3 grandparents, i have also knew 5 great-grandparents but i only remember 3 of them and i miss them so much. One of them died at 99 years. I can understand you when i woke up you thought: it was only a dream!

I have 2 question for you:
    - Did you know your grand-mothers and others grandparents?
    - If you knew them... did you miss them? Sorry if you think that this question it could be personal.

I hope that Nemo feels better in the next day and that you are not still sad about the dream! I think that our loved ones even if that they are not with us anymore they will be always in our hearts.

Have a nice day and take care!

    Big hugs

  5. Hello Anette!
I'm sorry for your bad dreams :( Often happens to me to have them, but luckily I try to forget them. Luckily, the bad thoughts and bad dreams go away from my mind, cause I try to be a positive person.
Don't think too much about death ;) You're still young you are a very strong woman. I think you haven't to worry. I hope that the next night Nemo will feel better and you will not have more bad dreams.
Lots of kisses to your and your nice family***

  6. Hi Anette, It is so special to me when you write posts like this! What you have written today is exactly how i feel at times & to hear you describe these feelings makes me feel like i am not alone with these kinds of thoughts! Its a real comfort & a real gift that you can share your thoughts like this with us...its means so much to me so thankyou!! My eyes well up when i read these things from you I know i always say that you are wonderful but also you are like a real life Angel Your a person at times who can real get through to my heart...I have been through some tough times which have caused me to be very aware of who i trust & although i am only 33 i have had some times in the past where i have wasted so much time, effort & love on the wrong people, people & 1 person in particular who turned out to be very bad and did something very bad to me, it was around 6 years ago now & it is the reason that i got back on track with my music & i use all my experience to write, it is like a healing process, i have searched long & hard for people to work with and since 2008 i have altogether found 3 people to work with & it makes me really happy...So everything you have written this morning really does ring true to me..you do learn from mistakes and i think things do happen for a reason & i also believe we have our guides looking out for us as you said about your grandparents and how sad you felt but then think they are out there somewhere looking out for us, i really believe this, i do...I have been in a dark place & something pulled me through & someone looked out for me..you feel it & its gives you inner strength!

Sometimes when i watch the news i feel my heart thumping like crazy either with angry or because i feel so sad & confused.....OK iam rambling now haha!

Anyway I hope you are feeling better in yourself!! So far in England today we have sunshine!!! Hope you do too xx

    kisses

  7. I really liked this post, I feel the same. I am going to be 40 next January and with my kids getting older I have thought how fast my life has been going by. I once in awhile get depressed on this issue because I feel so young, I keep in shape and it just seems like life goes faster and faster. There is so many places I want to visit, but with work it is hard.

Anyway, I hope Nemo feels better and you. Have a great day.

  8. Hi Anette
If you want to make this private or public it's no problem.

First time posting here after reading since day one. You seem like such a nice lady and the way you share things with fans is great.
I really cannot wait to see you live :)

The reason I wanted to write is I want to say a personal thanks for supporting the girl who runs Tuomas' website. I found it because of your blog and I just found out this girl is just a fan who puts so much hours and effort into it. I couldn't belive how dedicated she was, it is so cool to see the members of the bad support us fans with little projects too.
I think she deserves something as a reward for her hard work but thats just my thinking.

That song yesterday you posted was really nice thank you. Sorry to hear you had bad dreams, I cannot remember last time I had a bad dream, hope tonight you sleep better

    Thank you!!

  9. Hi!
Reflections on the night, everybody does this, hihi.
Dreams are reflections of our subconscious, sometimes they show us our fears, some fears that we never imagine to have.
Well, the life is short, for who believe on the 'afterlife' the life is the time to learn and got experience.
I think you are right. I also think it really does not matter the age of your body, but the age of your mind. Entering the subject of 'Afterlife', I think that the good people go to a place full of harmony and peace (like you said) but the bad people go to a place where they will recognize their errors and learn what's right, so they gonna to that place full of harmony and peace, where they will learn about be a good person, so they will go back to the life where will learn new experiences - if they need - or they will help people who needs learn new things on this place-afterlife. So, I also think the best way to live is be happy and try to not 'sweep' , like you said, and everytime remember: Everytime is time to learn something, we learn everyday, Did you learn something today, Anette? ;D
    Kisses.

  10. Hej Anette

Your words have inspired me to think.. I thought about my death, how will it happen, heaven and hell.. I know it's too early to think about that cause I'm only 15 but accidents happen :/

I know about boy who was my age when he died.. He's mum and dad was divorced, and he was living by his father.. He was on his way to show he's mum some diploma and marks. He wore rolls, he was crossing the street, looked right and left but no car was there.. So he crossed on the street and some crazy drunk driver suddenly appeared. Boy died the same moment when he was hit by car. I know his cousin and she said it was horrible to the whole family.. some of them still can't believe it happened.. They couldn't believe he died such young by so horrible accident.. He would be 19 or 20 now.

And I also had strange dream.. I dreamed that my best friends boyfriend died and we were going to his funeral.. The other day she came to me and said "Nikola was in hospital yesterday.. He fainted and he has some serious problems with his heart" I was like "WTF??!" But he's fine now, thank god!

I have few questions for you:
    - Did you ever have similar situation with dream??
    - What do you think about heaven and hell??
I believe in science, but no one knows what happens when we die..
    - And sorry if this question is too personal, but did you know your grandparents and how do you feel about them now??

Kisses and hugs from Nives :) ♥

  11. *hugs* I lost my Grandmother just over a year ago and I still miss her everyday, but I am sure that your grandparents would be very proud of you if they could see you now.

I agree with you that I hope whatever "afterlife" is out there is better, sometimes I look forward to death because it seems like the only hope left.

Sorry for being depressing, I have chest pain again so I am in a morbid mood.

I hope your day improves and that you continue feeling better.

  13. Hi Anette,
I know how you feel. I buried my lovely gran 2 weeks ago. It was hard, especially when they were lowering her into the grave ..... heartbreaking. I know she was 84, but it's still diificult as you think they are going to be around forever - but of course they arn't. Since then i feel like i've reassessed my life. I feel like i've accomplished nothing. I've wanted nothing more to be a singer since i was 7, but of course never had the opportunity even though i know i have the talent. I have 3 beautiful children who i live for, but my marriage is in tatters. I don't know what to do next. I would leave if i had somewhere to go and the finances to do it, but i don't. My parents are unsuppotive, and i suppose that's why i feel i can't cope most of the time. I know life is short, and that's why i feel this way. It's hard and scary when you know that you must do something about a situation, but don't know how to go about it.
    Lots of love xxxxx

  16. Hey dear Anette!
I'm sorry to hear You and Nemo's bad dreams, but the topic is very interesting, I think of it very often.
Life's a grain in the sand, and for that we need to enjoy it as much as we can and we had a lot of reasons for doing it. Of course, family is at first =)

I had a little silly question for you... If someone is really special for you but that person makes you so much harm, will you share a special moment with that person?

    Have a good day. Hugs!♥

  17. Good morning dearest Anette,

Goodness, I am sorry to hear that you and Nemo had such a rough night, I hope that it is only a minor cold and that he will recover soon. Still, I am glad to hear that as far as broken rib, you seem to be feeling better. I pray you continue to recover swiftly :). Dreams can be very unnerving or sorrowful, for they can truly tap into the strange or deep corners of your sub-conscious. And it is true, there are very many horrible things that exist in our world, but there is so much good and light in this world also, and it should never be taken for granted. I also believe that life is very much about learning, and that if you view everything beneath the right perspective, you will see important lessons and reasoning even within the most tragic incidents. And it is so important to surround yourself with positive energy, and many people don’t realize that.

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day :).

With much love and warm wishes,
    Alexandria

  19. The world is a horrible, corrupt place, but there is beauty there as well, you just have to look hard for it and never give up the hope that it's there. Nightwish taught me that :). Death is inevitable and I used to be terrified of that, but it's better just to enjoy life than worry about when or how it will end :) I can understand that your confidence might have taken a knock with you breaking your rib, I was hit by a car last year and while I wasn't seriously injured, it still makes me a bit jittery.

On a completely unrelated note, I'm leaving school soon and we're having an end of school prom/ball thing. We're all supposed to wear long dresses, but I'm only five feet tall and I feel like I'd be swamped in a long dress. Do you think someone my height could pull it off?

    Best wishes

  20. Hi Anette,
I love your post today, it's really interesting and of course i believe that death it's a terrible idea, cause of it can be "fall" on you in one minut...
I'm also really sad when i read or watch the news on television... Really it's difficult to listen it and to try to understand. So some weeks i just listen the "big" news and i stop to read my newspapers. There is a lot of bad things, but there is a lot of good things and we don't speak about it everyday :(
A lot of love, respect and peace, it's all i wish.
    Hugs

  21. Hey Anette, sorry I haven't commented in awhile.

I know what you mean, life is short.
I'm actually at the hospital right now.
My 16 year old cousin is having a surgery that
will last 8 hours to remove a brain
tumor that they just found last week.
We aren't sure yet if it's cancer...
But it's scary to have that and be so young.

    Hope you feel better soon!

  22. Hello Anette !!
Poor Nemo,i hope he is better now !! It was just a hard night, everything will be fine again =)
    What a bad dream :S !
My dreams are so weird, sometimes i dream with people and things i dont know, and sometimes i have a "deja vu" dream,it seems like i dream with that before and im dreaming again with the same thing ... Dreams are really a wonderful thing !
The last weird dream that i had was with my old friends lol =)
I feel sorry that you had a bad night, but this night will be better,im sure =D
You said many right things,i agree with everything you said.
Sometimes i wonder why we have life, why bad things and good things happen, why all of this exist ? I wonder how it would be if there wasn't a universe, life, energy ...
Those are things that people dont think often but its really important.
We have lessons everyday, those little good moments, the bad days ...
For me everything is strange,im just 13 but it seems that i already learn a lot !
I wish i could live in a peacefull world, where all the questions had an answer ...
Im really happy that you learn a lesson with this experience, but see the positive thing, you also learn that you are strong and you pass throught hard times with happiness and energy!
You are a really intelligent person,im glad that you think in this things, one more reason for you to be my idol,i learn a lot with you =))
You talked about death, when i was very little i was very afraid of death, but now i think death is a part of life, life doesnt means to be a Human, life for me is live and die,who knows if death maybe is a good thing ... Im sure that we arent going straight to hell if we did a bad thing, because you dont need to suffer because of your mistakes, you need to learn a lesson with mistakes,so i think everyone deserves a place in somewhere good when we die =)
    Well,thats all i have to say :D
Kisses and Hugs from Portugal (i send the best dreams to you and Nemo =D)

  23. Totally agree with you anette :)

we must aprecciate what life gave to us, keep it with love, share with our loved people.

sometimes i dream that i die, and i was killed by someone who i can't see it face and it wears totally black x.x'',but i feel some peace hearing some instrumental music or slow one, every time i see 'amaranth's video, i say '' i wanna live there'', love those beautiful landscapes, i really want some inner peace.

I have many bad things that worry me in my head, and I worry about little things and stupid [sorry for the bad word], and a teacher at my school & one of my friends tell me not to take things too seriously, because I'll hurt myself and I no harm, to the point to hurt myself for the concerns, and truth and I have almost 1 week that I not worry about things too seriously,

and really feels so good must live the life we were given, be myself and not be like the others tell me to act, or act like someone else to feel good about myself, so do not lose the essence that each of us, that is unique, and unique, and really,

people do not see and appreciate what they have until they lose it, all these wars are because these people have no peace with themselves and feel no love for anything, just believe and think their own benefit without the consequences and see who will be affected, regardless of who they will affect,

I'm not pleased at all, because it attacked one another, then, what is the purpose of us in the world?, attack and kill others for our benefit?, destroy what mother nature gave us?, all this has been happening, and our brothers from Japan, the misfortunes that happen throughout the world these earthquakes global warming, are the consequences of our actions, that truth is something that most people do not see.

and forgive me for any misunderstand, something writed wrong, or anything bad.

    take care Nettie,
    get well soon,
and wanna hear that you're 100% fully recovered :)

  24. I do agree on the point that we gotta take care of ourselves, don't rush, look well all around us not to fall into any sort of accident, but sometimes these things just don't have anything to do with us. Of course, you can be careful not to take a fall, but sometimes it's just about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. One might never break a bone in their whole life, nor take a fall, nor get a single scratch, and then just die in a car accident that wasn't even their fault, be caught under bricks in an earthquake or die cause of "natural", but unexpected causes. It's all about coincidences and we can't blame ourselves or others for bad things happening to us. They just do and we gotta accept them.
That being said, again, this is not me being against "taking care", not at all, hehe.

  26. depressive post,I see.
eh...To my mind..Our dreams (while sleeping)- seems like another world. And don't now this world is good or not.
Sometimes I can't understand reality and dreams...Maybe in dreams we feel yourself better, than on this earth.
In dreams-more easily to understand some wrong, bad things..and deaths,of course.

I noticed, that in dreams we don't pay attention on ourselves and moral feelings.

And when we wake up-that dreams make us depressed, feel yourself strange and anxiously.

  27. Hi Anette,

Always when the Spring is coming. I get Nightmares. Hard Dreams about my Mistake and bad things I have make, that is horrible and cause me fear.
In any Dream i could see realy in the future, but not so you can see in films. It was little hiden tip, what happen the next Day or week.

In my long Life I had many dreams, where i was journey in a another World and write about it. Through Dreams i find my own Way in this World. For 9 years ago, I was in Ireland and dreamed from a beautiful Unicorn, it come out the Atlantic Ocean. The Dream was so real and amazing.
What for me important is on the Unicorn-dream. through them I find my true religion. I go the old Way of the Celtic and North Gods now, they give me more liberty to believe.

At the Time give me dreams tips for my problems. You must believe on your dreams! Without it we are death!;)
Anette, that is true the school of life ending never.
And i hope your next lesson is not so painfull like the last one;)

Have a good night and a nice week and don´t forget to look down.

I started to read your post and a song that reminds me of my grandmother came on my ipod...Starting to tear...
I dream about my grandmother, especially when I am stressed. Usually she is cooking, which is what I always watched her do. I believe that she is letting me know that she is with me and watching over.
I was thinking about death the other day too, which I rarely do and I feel like you, that I still have so much to do and that even though I'm in my 40's it doesn't feel like it. It's so easy to be busy and try to get everything done...Slowing down is a good thing, hard to do!!
I hope Nemo is feeling better...and you are getting better.
Take care and Thank you for sharing as always!!

  32. Cześć Anette,
I'm sorry you have been having bad/depressing dreams lately :\ I think it is a bit weird that you mention you are almost now 40 but you don't feel "old", because when I first found out who the new singer of NW was, I looked you up on Google Images and thought, "Wow, she's only in her 20s!" You look so young, and not just that but in your eyes you look very young. I am usually good at guessing people's age, there is always maturaty in the eyes that cannot be faked.
But yes, the world seems very sad right now with all the disasters, but there is also goodness all around. I hope you can soon return to full health and happyness!

I'm 22 years old and I am always so confused about what I want to do in my life! I want so many things and don't know how to start anything...

It always seems like I've started my life now and I have a lot to do but
I'm always thinking-when my life will begin? When the great things will ever start to happen?

But the great things are the small things, and they happen everyday,we just have to know how to look and see.

I wish better days with healthy for you and Nemo ^^

  34. Hello Anette! I wish the best for you and your family. I'm a mother myself also and I have a tip to share with you (too):
Cut garlic ( cloves of garlic) in pieces in a cup or glass and keep that in Nemo's bedroom. Close to him...if everyone else can bear the smell of garlic ;-)
That keeps his nose open the whole night. In my family, mom and dad also uses this advice, while we have a could/flu... Minna

When people sometimes think they have the been here before and say maybe they were an indian before etc, I think they can be right.

  36. Hello Anette!
I hope you're doing fine right now.
I felt the need to post:

Your dream means that in the inside, maybe unconcious, you're missing something from someone. It could really be a grandmother, or a kin, a close friend, etc.
Look behind and maybe you'll remember there's somebody you want to call, and that dream will dissappear with the night.

    Hugs,
    Your singer friend!
