So I got my nails done today and I am really pleased with them;=) Took gel since I like that better than acrylic ones. And a french manicure. Took 1 hour to do and she was really good;=)
Anette, can I ask you something? When you go to places like shops and stuff, like you did today, do people tend to recognise you? Do they tell you anything/compliment you/ask for autographs? Just out of curiosity :)
Hi Anette, Your nails turned out awesome! I used to have the same problem with nail polish, especially when I was a daycare teacher, Polish was lucky if it lasted a day.
I found that Sally Hansen nail polish holds up pretty well if you need to paint your nails at home. "Diamond Strength" and "Hard as Nails Xtreme wear" has been my favorites from the line. Lots of pretty colors to choose from.
Both are suppose to help protect growing nails too! Not that you need new polish right now, but I found the product to be nice.
I know, this has nothing to do with nails... but i was shocked... at this time we have some students from sweden in our school... i asked them if they know anette olzon and they said NO! But hey, GERMANY LOVE YOU!
Your nails look really good! It must have been really nice to get them done. :) I've never gotten my nails like that before, nor have I gotten a manicure in years, so I am in desperate need of one!
Hej Anette! I see there has been some discussion going on about the model in your post, so I would like to comment, too. Yes, she is very skinny, but that is not good neither bad in itself. Some people like a very slim look, others prefer more round shapes. The only one thing that really matters is that a girl is healthy and keeps her natural body shape, whatever it is, without forcing unnatural changes. That's why I am against the whole idea of "model" actually. We are all different and we can all look good if we just stay true to ourselves. Yes, a girl should never stop eating and get ill to be thinner, but then why should a naturally skinny girl eat more to gain weight, if she's just perfectly healthy already? I read comments of people saying that skinny girls look terrible. In my opinion this is very rude, just like saying that an overweighted girl is ugly. Can't we get rid of all those "standard sizes" and just say that as long as we are healthy, we all look perfect? There's nothing wrong in taking care of our body shape of course, but I think many people would feel so much better without this model-look obsession. Just my opinion, of course. What do you think? :-)
vad snyggt det blev ;=) jag har inte häller särskilt långa naglar för jag biter på dem :=( jag är bara 11 så jag vill inte skaffa lösnaglar ha det bra anette
Hi Anette! Nice nails :) I had a random thought today when I saw a picture of you from the early DPP days, and this reminded me - did you like the nails they did on you? It was kind of a reverse French manicure, with black tips instead of the white you have here :) I always thought it was really cool-looking! Did you like it, would you do it again? :) Thanks for reading, and thank you for answering if you decide to :)
Beautiful =) I'm sure it made your day, taking care of oneself is so good for the mood, and with your ribs, that's one of the best treatments ;)
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Lucinda
Oh... you've granted my request! Thank you Anette! :D You nails are so nice.
ReplyDeleteGel is definitely a good choice:)

Your nails are so pretty now! I'm using something I call "DPP Nail Polish, because it's so blue and white... Just like the DPP cover, hihi!
ReplyDeleteFrench nails match fashion and delicate people. I think I'm not included =O so I prefer darker tones!
Nicely done :)
