Ok, some people wondered what this bed of nails is...its a bed of plastic "nails" which are said to be helping for neck pain, back pain, stress syndromes, sleeping disorders etc It triggers acupuncture points in the back and neck. I couldnt find an english site about it;=(
And yes, it does hurt...but I will try and learn, since so many people around me praise this thing;=)
Hello Nettie x
ReplyDeleteSeeing these pictures.. it looks painfull.
but you can try it :-)
Trying new things can be fun,..
maybe you should invite a friend for a sleep over... than your can share the pain ^^
Its a lot more to handle when you know someone is feeling the same, just my opinion ;-)
I wish you a wonderful day!
Love
Ann
Ah, i guess it is like that xD Wikipedia says its big in and around Sweden which is probably why ive never heard of it being used for that here (being in Australia and all) i can see how it would work though.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with it, your back and neck must get sore from all the rocking out =P
Hello Anette , how are you?
ReplyDeleteI hope that that "nail" bed helps against pain.
Have a great day
Hugs
Ena :* ♥
Good morning Anette!
ReplyDeleteOh that's exactly what I need! Most of the time, I wake up with a terrible pain in my neck and after a while my head starts hurting a lot. I'm pretty sure you know what I'm talking about. =)
Have a nice, relaxing day.
Hugs <3
Owww... if the bed isn't soft and squishy, i can't sleep in it :( Good luck with learning to sleep on it, dear.
ReplyDeleteI have a question, I understand if you don't have the time to answer, but since it is YOU that inspired me, I shall ask anyways. I'm getting my hair done professionally late next month. Would you recommend getting the purple streaks you had? My hair is pretty darn healthy considering it's been dyed :P And yes, this salon is one of the better ones. I'm looking at driving for close to 2 hours for it, the reputation is that high. And what about the style? Was that a lot of extensions? or just a TON of layers? If it helps, I CAN post a link to a picture taken earlier that shows the length/style my hair is now. But, I will wait until asked so that I'm not taking up precious space.
Hopefully, my day goes better than yesterday(ha, i have to go to the store in a few hours for gallons of water, since our tap water is ick and undrinkable... literally makes me sick to my stomach... eww)
Hugs and love, and smiles from Texas :)

Holy cow, it really looks like a torture device :D Maybe it helps with neck and back pain because the pain you feel everywhere else is a lot bigger :DDD
ReplyDeleteО_о looks terrifying! XD I think I'll try to sleep without a pillow this night, because my neck and shoulder hurts like hell =\

Hello Anette =)
ReplyDeleteIn my family there is such a thing. Only in the "nails" are not plastic - they are metal. The alloy of gold, copper, silver, and yet something. I find it really helps. Especially in the case of headaches and pains in the abdomen, with nausea. And just as a massage. Home - try to relax and put his hands along the body =)
Yikes, that looks scary! I hope it is as good as all these people say... o.O
ReplyDeleteHi Anette!
ReplyDeleteUgh, I wouldn't try it, because I can't stand pain. :S Brr... but I hope it helps you to recover from your back pain. :)
Have a nice day,
Angela
Hy Anette^^

That looks so scary. Good luck with it, Anette.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day.
I've never seen something like that before. Hope it helps you :)
ReplyDeleteI sleep with a magnet pillow. If you have the chance to try it out, people say it relax the neck, eases headaches and provides better sleep.
Personally, since I've been sleeping with this pillow, I wake up more relaxed. I used to (and still do) sleep for about five hours a night because of school.
Have a shiny day! Take care,
Fábio
Oh, we used to have one of those when we lived in Russia ^.^ I used to be able to lay on one for hours. No idea if I can handle it now but I have been wanting to get a new one for some time. It really does help.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great day!
Yelena~
That looks painful but relaxing. I'd like to try one of those!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried one of those infrared lights? Devices you can aime to an especific part of your body. It gets really warm and it helps a lot with pain.
They come in many sizes and shapes... Look it up and tell me if you try them.
Kisses!
Ouch. >_<
ReplyDeleteIt looks painful, but I guess it is very relaxing. I would like to try this one day before bed.
See ya,
Dimitris
Holy Moly!! This bed looks painful, but hey if it works, why not? I hope it will help you with your back and neck.
ReplyDeleteGood evening Anette!
ReplyDeleteWow the bed looks.. painful indeed. Hahaha! I'm having pain backs myself and every night is hell because I can't sleep. The strange thing is when I laid on my back it hurts less.. I wonder why.. I'm changing my neurologist next month because the one I got is just bad.
Good luck with the nail bed!
Love,
Karo E.

Hi Anette,
ReplyDeleteOh my God that bed seems painful, really.
I hope that all your problems will pass awy with this painful bed.
Hugs, Miriam xx
Dear Anette,
ReplyDeleteIt lookes uncomfortable, this bed of nails. But the information I read on Wikipedia about it made me smile, as they wrote it is very popular in Sweden. So I think that might be the reason people around you are very fond of it. ;-) Other words for this bed of nails seem to be: acupressure mat or shakti mat. Here are a few websites (in English) providing some information on this item:
1) http://www.shaktimat.net/
2) http://www.shaktimat.com/
3) http://www.shaktimat.com.au/shaktilife/The_Shakti_Mat.html
Have fun using it!
Yours,
Lisa
Oh my god, that looks.. - adorable =D The nails don't seem so painful what first thought they would seem. I hope it will help you.
