The girls are all so sweet and I think they can all be great musicians if they want to. Getting the privilege of doing such a great thing as going away on a camp like this is for sure something I wish more girls can do. I said to Mia, one of the leaders, that they should expand outside of Sweden too. It´s a great idea and I am impressed by the people behind this thing for their work and the whole idea of these camps;=)
Thanks to all of you at popkollo for this wonderful and giving day...you are all very very special and I can see that you all can be exactly what you want to be in life;=) I will be on the look-out for you in MTV and the festivals the coming years;=) And good luck for this sundays concert, you will rock!!!
Hugs and lots of love,
Anette
These girls had the chance to meet one of the best metal singers in the world, Anette Olzon =) and you had the opportunity to meet new talent, after all, you can sing along with the band from someone of this school ;-)
ReplyDeleteYou could tell us about what you talked with them? It would be very cool to know
ReplyDeleteKram Annelie
This sounds awesome, I wish they did this in the UK. Girls like me will have to keep struggling our way into the music biz, but these camps sure sound like they could help.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a nice day, take care.

Good evening Anette!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for great pictures and Your account from the meeting with the camp students!
Sounds like it's not only a great fun but also great experience and a chance for talented kids to actually take a step forward in a professional path as singers or musicians. Too bad we don't have these in Poland!
I'm sure everyone felt honored and were very happy to have You as a guest! Glad to hear that You had such an awesome time today!

I laughed at the third photograph, hehehe :)
ReplyDeleteSeems it was a nice day! Thank you for the posts.
A lot of hugs,
Fábio
No doubt it's fantastic...The studio and the whole place looks so professional and comfortable to work and play in. I haven't heard of these little band FourEver but i must do it oneday...really curious to hear what do they play )_ they are teens? I mean 13-15 years of age, right? I didn't try the music and studio work so far being in that age as they did.
ReplyDeleteHave you saNG something to them? ;=)i guess they were glad to hear some Nightwish out there, haha)))
So good you did that..))
Inga
Dear Anette,
ReplyDeleteit definetly has been a great day for you and for all the girls at the music camp!!!
To share your experiences with them, to show them your support and interest is for sure very helpful and positive, because they have many things to learn from such an amazing singer as you are!
I think that you are a great motivation for them and an example to follow!!!
And these summer camps no matter if they are about music sports or other things are the best thing ever to do during the summer, because you get to learn lots of new and useful things and they make you evolve as a person and bring you great satisfaction!
And of course you get to know interesting people and make friends!
Thanks for the pictures form this nice day!
Have a nice evening and a very good night!!!
Lots of love,
Herta
P.S: YOU ARE THE BEST!
HAHA... The 3° picture is very funny, hihihihi
ReplyDeletehave a good night Anette.

ReplyDeleteIt would be great!
I wish you all the best! Abd for the girls too ;)
Good Night And SweetDreams

Like Mooshi, I wish they did things like this in England... I'm trying to get a band together but I don't entirely know where to begin and there is a serious lack of drummers around where I live, I don't know why.
ReplyDeleteAll the pictures are really sweet, Anette =). And I agree with what Bonome said. The girls had the chance to meet one of the best metal singers in the world =).
ReplyDeleteHope you had lots of fun.
Take Care
great photos Anette
ReplyDeleteThanks
Isabelle
Wow, those pics are awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you had such an awesome day, dearest Anette.
Sleep well,
Hugs and love,
Falyssa
Looks like you all had a lovely day. It would be great if they had something like this in the UK. I wish the girls the best of luck.
ReplyDeleteHave a good night
Marie
Wow, that's awesome. I wish there were places like this in the US-- say you want to be a rock star here and people just laugh at you and shake their head. Way to be inspirational! ~ Irena
ReplyDeletekisses for you and for all the girls !!
ReplyDeleteAnette ( nenette !!!) you are so great!
hugs from paris !
Aaaah, it would be so awesome if there'd be camps like that in the Netherlands! I mean, at my school there are all kind of things you can do, but than I'd have to work together with the people that try to get the whole school against me, so I'm afraid that wouldn't really work >.<
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go to a music camp where you actually learn something!
Great that you go there and help them! I'm sure they loved it =)
xx,
Nouky
This thing surely was interesting experience! When I read this, it sounds very nice and your writing was interesting too. So this experience itself was REALLY nice and wonderful, I think :)
ReplyDeleteIf someone ask you to this kind of camp newly, do you want to go there second time, if you have time for it? :)
And i love the pictures you've posted here ;=) And you're so funny at one..)))
ReplyDeleteThe people that organized that did bery well definitelly)_ i haven't heard of such things ever before..amazing expirience for the girls..)
And yes you have so many beautiful places out there In Sweden..specially when it comes to be close to the water...)
Inga
Haha, I have to love you,
ReplyDeletethat third picture is so cute and funny!
Well, I'm sure that these girls are
just as grateful as you are
when it comes to sharing this experience.
I think it probably really helps them
to see someone come in so positive
and be there for advice.
I'm sure it was really nice for them
to know that they can have fun
while trying to live out their dream at
such a young age. And I think that
you are a perfect example of someone they
can look up to when it comes to that.
I'm glad you had a good time,
and I hope all of these
girls benefit greatly from this experience.
Good night and sweet dreams!
Hugs and love, Katie T.
Pretty cool to see you supporting bands.
ReplyDeleteThose pictures gave me bit of a laugh ;)
Bet they apprietiate it too.
Have a great night and day.
Not long until Hartwall now :D
wow they were lucky to have such an awesome visitor! -.0
ReplyDeleteLooks like Popkollo was a great event. Wish I was there too.^^
ReplyDeleteWow! this sounds soo nice!!
ReplyDeleteI want to be there! :DD
Have a lovely weeek-end Anette!!
Good Morning Anette,
ReplyDeletethank you for all the pictures and the report. This camp sounds like so much fun and it gives the girls a lot of opportunity. And I agree with what you said in the other posts, these kind of camps should be expanded to outside Sweden. It is great to see so much talent and potential in one place.
Have a nice and sunny Friday,
Katrin
There are camps like this in Australia, for both guys and girls, but there are only so many spaces. Usually there are more people than spaces. Its a great way to enter the industry, gain experience and for those who are passionate enough to follow their dreams it can be everything they can hope for.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you all had fun, both you and them. I'm sure they learnt all they could from you and improved dramatically.

Hi, Anette, regards from Brasil, I hope you don't ever forget us and remember that beyond all that shity stuff that happened here, we love you all so much. Never give up, never, you desearve this high level which you've reached! You're so sweet and lovely, I bet for you our way to express how much we love you guys must seemed to be really weird, but, no matter how, never forget we love you all so much! Once I heard your voice I changed my mind, I was about to star a metal band male-fronted like Angra(I bet you know Angra), Shaman(I bet you remember that you guy played before them in the Master of Rock, you were the front act), Almah(Emppu was part of the first Almah album, with the brazilian sing of Angra) and Andre Matos(Formed singer of Angra and Shaman), but when I heard you, I changed my mind, I want a female-fronted band with a pop voice like you, it's so diferent, sweet and beautifull! You're the best, keep doing it, and I hope like get the best for you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful story and pics, Anette! Thank you for sharing them with us.
ReplyDeleteIt indeed looks like it's not only been a constructive activity, but also a fun one. You can see joy and brightness both on your face and on those girls'. And, like someone said in another comment above, not only did they get the great opportunity to talk to someone who was willing and was able to help and advise them, but you also had the chance to share your experience with a bunch of wonderful young musicians.
I'm glad you enjoyed that day and I hope your back pain is soon over! Take plenty of rest and have a great weekend!
Haha, what are you doing with your nose? =D It looks like that you had really fun there. =)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, I have never ever heard about these kind of camps and it would be cool if these would be more.
There are Popkollo in some other countries as well, check out http://www.girlsrockcamp.org/ or, if you live in Sweden http://www.popkollo.se (we also have Popkollo Madame for girls over 18 :)).
// Lisa, popkollo karlshamn
Lisa: Vad bra att det gått bra för dem allihop! Var så kul och inspirerande att vara hos er och jag kommer gärna igen;=)
ReplyDeleteVar rädd om dig och hälsa alla!
Kram, Anette
Seems like a very nice camp!! Wish I ever had the oppertunity to do something like that!
