...my day have been as normal, no new things to report,=) I have been at the gym for 1.5 hour and it was great! Then some rest and now cleaning the house and will maybe go to my mums house after that to show her precious "Stjärnan"...otherwise just a nice and cosy friday alone in the apartment with some tv and relaxing...
And Bonome, I answer the comments I feel I want or need to answer...it can be some that I feel more for and if I have the time to sit down and answer them.

Nothing wrong with normal days when you can just sit back and relax, especially since you have such a hectic lifestyle otherwise with all the touring and stuff.

Well, it is with Denzel Washington, it is an actor that I really adore ;o) not only because he is handsome :-D The movie is called "Man on fire" it is an action drama, so you need to have the right tate of mind to watch it :o) I liked that movie really much... Well, there was scenes when I thought "OK, enough, I can´t make it!!!" But in the end I was glad I saw it all :o) Si, if you haven´t seen it yet and you will decided to watch it, I hope you will like it :o) It is really high-quality movie :)

Thanks for answering this question. I wish to emphasize again that would not want to offend or criticize and not pressure you in any way, it was only one question that arose in my mind. As you said, it's hard to write in a language that is not mine and since I use a translator at times sounds very formal or harsh my words. I have to write in detail Becouse sometimes my translator translates wrong.

again and I haven't been on here
or my own blog as much as I'd like to be.
I'm glad you had a normal day, mine today was
really sad-
I came to school with knowledge that
I already knew- that a younger girl then I,
has been diagnosed with luekemia.
I have known this for a few days and I
knew our town was going to be doing some
activities to help raise money.
When I heard her name, it registered as
someone I thought I knew but I couldn't
picture a face. Then today I was walking down
the hall to class and saw her,
she lost all of her hair from chemo and
I saw her face and regognized her instantly as
being a girl from my art class last year.
And I started to cry because this girl is so
sweet and nice, she is one of the kindest
people I have ever meet. I asked myself
how can something so terrible happen to her?
How can someone so warm hearted be
put through this? I want to help her so much
because I have lost a lot of family to cancer, but there's only so much I can do
and I feel so helpless. The worst part is
is that I don't know how to react to her...
I'm sure she wants to be treated the same
and get positive energy but
I can't help feeling bad for her.
I know she's getting stronger, seeing as
how she was at school today,
but she's so young and sweet it makes me cry
at the thought of her going through this...
I'm thinking about writing a letter
to give to her, letting her know I want to help,
but I don't want to make her feel bad...
I just want to let her know I'm here.
Sorry for gushing all that out at you,
it's just really emotional for me.
My grandma died of cancer the day I saw
Nightwish this past May in Kentucky.
Cancer also runs in my family and
I have an idea of all the stress she's
going through with it.
I know she needs to see people be
strong around her, but I'm not sure exactly
what I can do or say to her...

I don't know if I am out of place sharing what I am about to share with you but I hope you don't mind it. You are a tremendous inspiration to me as a singer. I was in love with Nightwish when they still had Tarja but you have opened the door to something brand new for the guys and for yourself these past years. It is a beautiful thing to me.
Ever since I was very young I wanted to be a singer. I write music and lyrics and have spent a lot of time and money perfecting my voice. I feel like it brings lots of joy to myself and others. I want to be the best singer that I can be.
I have been a writer for almost as long as I have been a singer. There is something very cathartic about it. When I put words on paper the world makes more sense. I want to share my experiences with other people in hopes that we will all be better for it.
I have been trying very hard to find a band that wants me to sing with them but I have had terrible luck. I'm sure that most of it has to do with living in Rochester, NY, USA. It is not a very big city. Also, my favorite kind of music (symphonic/melodic metal) is not extremely popular here.
I recently was treated very positively by a band. They are in their formative stages and needed a vocalist. I met with them, spoke with them extensively about expectations and sang for them. They seemed pleased with me. They asked me to write lyrics and a melody for a song for them. I put a lot of soul and heart into this request and when it was finished they told me that they loved it. Three days later they told me they did not want me in their band. They said that I didn't fit their sound. I would think that they could have told me this earlier when I sang for them in person before I invested myself into that song.
I am very angry at them for being so misleading and very sad that something that seemed so hopeful fell apart in front of me. I just wanted you to know that even though I am going through these times that your blog gives me strength. I will not give up.

Sometimes boring days are the best, we can dedicate them to ahselves. So An, you are the closes 'singer/celebrity' I can actually ask this and hope for a response.
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to damage your voice singing to the point where you can't reverse it and recover? You see, my favourite singer is over using his voice with excess of gigs (17 gigs in 20 days so far is bad, isn't it? And he's not stopping so we can say today, 18 in 21 days.) And it hast started to show the damage now, so as the good fan I am I'm worried, I mean, I know I can't send him a letter or a comment (like I can with you :) ) but at least I want to know if he and his voice are going to be alright in the future.
