Good evening everyone;=)
Today I started my day early and took the train up to Gothenburg to have a meeting with my manager Petri. We had a nice lunch at the office and then had a nice meeting half of the afternoon. Then I took a short trip in some stores before heading home again.
To keep myself happy during the trip I had some nuts as snacks and I started a new book I bought this weekend at Helsinki airport. It´s called Sex, lies and vampires and the author is Katie MacAlister. It´s a really good book and I couldn´t put it down;=) So if you like vampire stories with a little love in it, this is for you;=)

I'm not a fan of vampires though, more of a fantasy, lord of the rings type of guy...

I'll put that on my list of books to check out. I'm reading Dark Calling at the moment one of Darren Shan's Demonata books (about Werewolves, Demons and Magic).
I've just invested in some of the books in The House of Night series by PC and Kristen Cast. It's another vampyre series.

ReplyDeleteVampires stories are sooo good. I love to read it! I don't know if you already tried Anne Rice... She is wonderful! And also, here we have André Vianco, an author that has a lot of written things about vampires. In my opinion, his books are the best. I don't think we have it in english which is a pity, I think you would like it if you like vampire stories.

I LOVE vampire books- the House of Night

Vampire Academy, The Vampire Diaries,
and of course Twilight, are all really good.
Oh! Also the Vampire Chronicles,
and Bram Stoker's Dracula is good.
Hope you're interested in any of those?
If not you should read

ReplyDeleteI am interested in what the book is like but I'm not sure whether I'll read it, cause though I adore Twilight I don't actually like other vampires, I'm afraid of them... and the book probably is 18+ and i'm still a teenager so my parents wouldn't probably like me to read it :D:D However, one day I may stop being scared of vamps and read it, it sounds it could very interesting ;)

That's a great book - I've read it just some weeks ago..
ReplyDeleteIf you like the way she writes I could recommend "Even Vampires get the Blues". The story is great and I couldn't stop laughing more than once..
if you like vampire stories with a little love in it, I advise you to read Vampire Knight, it is a very good manga
